After attending this school for three years I finally realize that public school has much more to offer than this secluded community of a school.

A large portion of this school's class work is, not learning, but memorizing. It's not the teachers, as they are just reciting the methods they are taught, but the curriculum that is followed is very ineffective when it comes to long-term problem solving and memory recovery.

In the three years that I attended Bulloch Academy, I found that either I loved my teachers or I hated them. There's not much more to say.

Absolutely not. The school may poorly attempt to encourage valued morals for students to follow, but there is no development and effort put into making sure these good behaviors are displayed. I have only met a handful of students that are decent people. The students at this school relentlessly display racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, political bias, transphobia, religious discrimination, and more disgusting practices that I can't believe are tolerated.

When I think of leadership, I imagine leadership and good examples in students, and administrators. Do I recognize leadership? No. Everybody has similar ideas and morals therefore no leadership is taken because nobody has original opinions. Everything remains the same and nothing will ever change.

They do nothing to acknowledge a good high achieving child, leadership is only oriented to material goals such as money, sport fields etc
Upon presenting our daughters SAT results the useless counselor did not even sit down with our child.
After 8 years even the name on my child’s commemorative plaque was misspelled ...should tell you how much they care

They are all kept at a fairly equal level, couple teachers stand out however insufficient to cover all disciplines or grades, no initiative or response from counselor or leadership for high achieving children.

Wasted opportunity for talented children, money is everything they want. They do not invest in teachers despite potential as a college town.
Bias if you are not a “local name”
Daughter has trustees award for elementary and did not even get a picture on the yearbooks honors page; also highest score and trustees award middle school, misspelled name on plaque....that’s about it. Happy we are moving away.
You can count on one hand the outstanding teachers.
When we moved here the tour/website etc pictured everything much rosier then in real life, I guess that is however to be expected...

There are not enough qualified teachers, school is not obliged to show teachers credentials, they do have homework so that is ok

Credit to the couple (2-3) teachers however that is rather the exception!

They are indeed good civilized children at least as far as we have seen , yes, your child is safe, wow you curse and fight, probably this is due to the children’s home environment

Everything works better when you eliminate bureaucrats. Public schools spend 95% of their efforts on the bottom 5% of the population. BA simply educates your child, without all the struggles of society.

My child is entering 3rd grade this school year and we couldn't be happier with her academic and social growth in these early, formative years. The administration and faculty are professional and supportive to parents and students. Parents are welcome and encouraged to play an active role in the life of the school. Students are challenged and prepared at all levels which is proven by the stellar results in college admissions and performance. All of this paired with the loving family environment makes Bulloch Academy a great school!

We have 3 children in school at BA, in third, seventh and tenth grades. We could not be any more pleased. The academics are very challenging. When kids transfer to BA from public or other private schools, consistently they are behind and have to catch up. It is an extremely caring and nurturing environment and could not be happier.

My children have always been in public schools that received a 10 on the great schools rating. When we moved to GA three years ago we chose Bulloch Academy instead of the public school system. I could not be more pleased with the education they are receiving. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and we are happy to be part of the BA family. My teens are involved in sports, clubs and a lot of other activities that BA offers. Not only are they growing educationally but they are maturing in character.

My children have been attending Bulloch Academy since Pre-K and my oldest child is now in 4th grade. I have been so impressed with the education that they are receiving. My children are consistently scoring in the 95-99 percentile on national standardized tests. The teachers give each of my children individualized attention and love my children as if they were their own. There are numerous activities that all students can be involved in. The lower school children interact with the middle school and high school students, thus reinforcing the family atmosphere at the school. I have nothing but positives to say about BA!

Don't waste your money, way behind in education compared to public schools. They are more concerned with status and how much you give and who you know.

A great school for all children. The young children get extra attention and are tended to in the right manner. All children are encouraged and challenged which is why the middle and high school is wonderful. The older kids are all academically fit and are way ahead of other schools. Another great thing about this school is there is an extra-curricular activity for everyone! Even elementary is involved with programs so much better than the recdepartment. Its great for the school to be so closely knit in everything! I wouldn't think twice about sending your child there, it is worth every penny and your child wil agree.
