We love the incorporation of the biblical woldview that is woven into the academic currirulm.
My older children were significantly more prepared for the rigors of college compared to many of their college roomamtes.
Beautiful wooded campus.

My experience as an administrator at Westminster Schools of Augusta is unlike any other work experience I have had before. It is truly amazing to be able to work with such a wonderful group of professionals who are so dedicated to helping the children they are entrusted with to grow and learn. The support for other team members is unbeatable.

My child has been a student at Westminster since kindergarten, and we have been so happy with her experience at the school. The teachers have all been loving and supportive. Although my child is challenged to achieve excellence in academics, she receives the guidance and help that she needs from her teachers to meet those expectations. The biblical teaching and Christian worldview are present in all areas of the school, not just in Bible classes and/or chapel services. There are LOTS of opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities including athletics, service, and fine arts. I would highly recommend Westminster to any family who is searching for a school with a strong academic program with a Christian worldview.

We love Westminster! I do not personally know all the principals, but the Elementary Principal has been wonderful for our children! It is not a perfect school, but our experience with the teachers and other families here has made us feel at home. The academics are challenging in a good way and my children love going to school every day.

We have had a fabulous experience at Westminster. My children enjoy coming to school and love their teachers. The classes are Biblically-based and provide a strong academic foundation, teaching the students the skills they need to be successful. We have been able to get involved in several different sports and clubs, so my children can explore their interests and find what they are passionate about. They are encouraged, known, and loved.

Great place to work. A real sense of community where employees are appreciated. Nice to have an opportunity to work at a place where you can make a difference in the lives of children.

I have had two children graduate from Westminster. They had a wonderful experience. The teachers were very hands on, and my children grew so much as students. They also had lots of opportunites to develop as leaders. They are both thriving in college and are quick to say that Westminster prepared them well.

Westminster Schools of Augusta has been such a blessing to our family! Our daughter attends the Lower School. Her spiritual development has been amazing. Her growth in her academics has also been remarkable, even at a young age.

We have two graduates and two current students. Our graduates were 100% more prepared for the rigors and social pressure of college than their roommates and classmates from other high schools. The investment in a Westminster education was so very worth it!
Teachers at all levels care for and actually pray for their students. The school offers AP and Dual Enrollment classes right on their campus, by college professors who are also Westminster teachers.

What an amazing school! Our children have been attending here since PreK and now they are in middle school and high school. It has been an amazing journey and we have definitely been made to feel like family here.
The education is outstanding and we are very confident that they are more than prepared for college due to the strong academic teaching that they have received here.
Every subject is taught from a Biblical perspective so we are so blessed and happy that all of the students will be equipped to go out into the world and be able to defend their Christian faith and be amazing witnesses wherever they end up.
So glad we have been able to be a part of this school/family.

As a parent of a student that attended Westminster from K-12 and had another child attend the local public schools, I would not put any more of my children anywhere but Westminster! The difference in academics was astounding! The difference in college level preparation at Westminster was outstanding. Our public school educated child was gifted and was absolutely NOT prepared for college level work. Our Westminster child was more prepared and excelled in his college level courses. He is now pursuing a master's level degree and is excelling in it as well. Westminster not only gives a Christian based education, but the teachers and staff demonstrate a faith based life to the students. If we are lucky enough to have grandkids in the local area one day, we will definitely be willing to help send our grandkids to Westminster!

Multiple tracks are available for students who learn at different paces. Frankly, this has been a change from the past and is welcome. All students can find their niche here while guarding against becoming a grade factory I have seen at so many other schools.

I wouldn't place my children at any other school in Augusta. Building a strong foundation for my children in their formative years prepares them for a life that will be bombarded by decisions that will have consequences. Preparing them for that world is one of my biggest responsibilities as a parent.

Homework is purpose-driven that supports overall curriculum goals.

Posted: August 21, 2018

Teachers teach the full child- character development, physical activity, moral development, and most importantly spiritual development.

Westminster shrugs off the cultural relativism that permeates our culture today in favor of preparing students for the reality and rigors of life through emphasis on honor and integrity in the classroom as well as on the sports field.

The administration has a vision for the direction the school is headed in order to provide a environment grounded in the scripture while providing a 21st century education.

Some concerns in past about high expectations and too much homework. Faculty engaged with parents and students really well to meet family's needs and balance student's work and expectations.

Challenging school, but a robust Academic support staff with teaching coaches to help students with difficulties. Academic accommodations are allowed based upon learning difficulties.

Posted: August 4, 2018

teachers are committed to addressing a student's heart. This is as important as the material being taught

This is a really great school. As a parent with one now in college, seeing the power of a Christian based, academically challenging education is really overwhelming. There is a short time to prepare our kids to be life long learners, and Westminster is really doing great things.

I went to the best schools in Columbia county before transferring to this school in 2003. I learned more here and was better prepared for college because of Westminster.

We are so thankful to be at Westminster. It is a gift to our children to have such an excellent education while also being strengthened and encouraged spiritually. We feel blessed to be a part of this community.

As a new parent and former alumnus I cannot say enough about WSA. This school is filled with love from the faculty and it is evident the second you walk in the door. I felt this love as a student and I see it being given to my children. WSA is a family that cares for one another. I have seen first hand the prayer that is poured over each child. WSA is a unique institution that is as strong academically as it is spiritually. As a former student I realized quickly how prepared I was for college. WSA's teachers truly invest in their students and know the challenges that await their students. I am grateful that my children are now able to experience being a Wildcat. A lot has changed since I graduated but the core of WSA and what it stands for has not. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school.

Westminster Schools of Augusta is an answered prayer for my family. Choosing a school for your upcoming female freshman, as well as, your 5th grader son is not one we took lightly. We new we wanted them to remain in a Christian environment with a tough academic curriculum. Well, we are there. It offers the best, most loving, and nurturing environment we could ask for. They have both been challenged academically and risen to the schools expectations and ours. They both are involved in several sports at the school and have the most wonderful, Christian coaches. They not only are teaching them how to be a Christian athlete but how to be a team leader. We are so proud to call ourselves Wildcats!!!!

We chose Westminster Schools of Augusta for many reasons. They have a Christian staff that loves and nurtures the children from Pre-k through 12th grade. We find great peace in knowing that our child is taught God's Word in the classroom daily and to respect God's world and the people in it. The class sizes are small giving more opportunity for a teacher to have the time to reach out to each student. The lower school is blessed to have para-pros in all classes through 5th grade. Parents at Westminster are anxious to help in all activities of the school, giving the children fun opportunities outside the classroom. Westminster offers an array of competitive athletic sports throughout the school year. The Fine Arts department at Westminster is flourishing and award winning. In addition to academics, fine arts and athletics at Westminster also emphasizes service and caring for others through numerous community service projects. Westminster is committed to providing a safe and caring learning environment enabling instructors to teach the skills necessary to excel in college and to be compassionate citizens in the community.

This school embraced our entire family. My daughter was doing more intense academic work than at her old school but coming home happier. The school encourages connections among students, families and staff. My daughter started at Westminster feeling sad & lonely within days her joy returned and by the end of the year her transformation was amazing. She was happier & more confident. Mrs. Wiggins was a blessing & the principal went out of her way to welcome us.
