Omg, this is the best school ever! But it only is in the education format. I have been harassed here for all of 7th grade and most of 6th. It gets worse every day. The only disciplinary action was an office referral, but they kept going. No teacher noticed at all. Other than that, this school is the best. I wish I was here every day.

The minute you walk in you are greeted by the most friendliest front office staff. Teachers are warm and caring. They lead with rigger, high academic expectations at the same time are thorough and thoughtful and very detailed to student needs and support services. When it comes to student academic, they thrive and seem to know what's best for their students.

I wish giving 0 stars was possible because E.T. Booth Middle School has gained a negative reputation among students due to its toxic environment, where bullying is constant, and the staff fails to take action. Many students face relentless bullying daily including me, but instead of receiving the help and protection, they are ignored or even blamed for the situation. If you ask to switch classes because of it they are very stingy about it.. On top of that, most teachers at E.T. Booth Middle School are often rude, unprofessional, and overly dramatic, creating a discouraging atmosphere for us students. This school, which should be a safe and welcoming place for learning, has instead become a stressful and hostile environment for students.. I was forced to go to etbms for all 3 years of middle school and there was many bomb threats and shooting threats including several hit lists and false code reds.. One of the biggest issues at E.T. Booth Middle School is the severe bullying for no absolute reason. Students frequently experience verbal harassment, physical intimidation, and cyberbullying, yet the school does little to address these issues. Many victims report bullying to teachers and administrators, and they ask the students and sometimes parents about the situation and the students maximum consequence for bullying at this school is they get ISS.. in the summer of 2024 a anonymous student who refused to say their name texted a family member of mine thats a little bit heavy set to kill herself.. if your a parent reading this and you have the option, your best to not let your child go to this school because they will come out a whole different person ..

Overall this school only needs to watch the foul language a lot more otherwise it would be 4 stars. Too many students aren't getting punished for saying foul language whether its inside or outside (for nessecary reasons) of the school.

This schools punishments are just horrible. Say you are just normally talking when they say you COULD, and you get FOUR WHOLE POINTS OFF! And if you are just simply chewing gum, ANOTHER FOUR POINTS! And of you are A MINUTE late to class for any reason, say you were in the bathroom ANOTHER FOUR POINTS. This food is at least edible, but that doesnt mean its good. We sometimes get SLOP. Children are very rude, Im already getting bullied in the second month of the school year. and guess what, they dont get punished! I literally got a bruise on my hand and they didnt get in trouble for doing it. The milk is clumpy, and the ice cream is not ice creaming.

Dont go to this school!

There are fights like everyday, most of the food is bad, and we had 3 false alarm for serious things these are just some examples of way this school sucks. For example we had 2 false alarm code reds and one false alarm fire alarm. One day the basically gave us slop for lunch. It was some chicken and rice thing that was wet and look like the worst meal u ever saw. Most teachers are good but if theyre not theyre really bad. I would NOT recommend going to this school

The school is horrible! Zero tolerance for simple things like talking. Teachers should handle this level of discipline in their own classroom, not send the student to administrators for write ups. I would never recommend this school. It has been the worst experience for our child and us as parents. They have little to no input/experience when creating or updating 504 Plans and do not follow the plans and are in violation. They also discriminate against learning disabilities. UNACCEPTABLE!

Both of my children went to school here. They did very well with their grades and they loved their teachers. I know it's not easy to deal with pre-teen kids sometimes. We appreciate all teachers and staff who work here to help the young generation achieve their goals.

This school is horrible, there Is white girls yelling the n word in class, I got in trouble because someone fell on me. There are kids cutting themselves and vaping in the bathroom and forget about changing your classes if you have a problem with some students the principal ignores you and says "I'll call you up" and he dosnt call you up at all you could be waiting for 9 weeks and he'll ignore you and if a fight breaks out he won't call you up if you're witness.

Horrible, horrible school. If you have a child with special needs forget placing them here. You will never be heard and the teachers will never ever adapt to your childs way of learning. The school pride itself on easy kids whose excel with test scores. Thats all they care about are the test scores! All three of my kids have gone to the school and all three of them were bullied and they absolutely hated the school with a passion. I think that the school needs a A serious intervention from the school district. The teachers at the school are just awful. Ive heard horror stories from my kids and have even contemplated putting a microphone in their book bags so that I can hear what the teachers are saying in the classroom. From what Ive been told, Woodstock middle school is the way to go. Stay clear of this horrible school its not worth the drama.

My special needs son hates this school.
They keep telling me its because its a new school.
He still hates E. T. Booth and it is now March!
I do not think the teachers are very effective with special needs children. All his teacher does is verbally complain to me about my sons behavior.
She never puts the things she says in writing.
My son has reported to me that someone here hits him and nothing has been done about that.

I can said based on my experience is not a good school they dont have the knowledge how to help the students about bullying in school and social media. I know things going on this school and the only solution they do send the students to tribunal court and thats it. Of course us as parents need to do our part but I feel there racist with individuals by there race, teachers are okay and the front office there polite to you but handling a big situation in this school they dont do there best. I hope they find a better knowledge in there careers but at this moment they dont do there best.

Teachers at this school just do not care. They give students a PowerPoint to copy notes off of. The teachers do not review anything with the students and hand them a test, expecting them to know it. They enjoy handing out Referrals like it is candy. This is just unacceptable. I switched to Woodstock Middle/High School, and haven't worried since. ET Booth also added two extra curricular classes which just waste time and are pointless. These classes also require TONS of work for a extra class. Next problem, Bullying. Teachers and Counselors are not willing to prevent bullying. My son was bullied all throughout 6th and 7th grade. He told his teachers, counselors, principals, and peers. No one bothered to do anything until I visited the principal. I had a meeting with him and well, still nothing. This is where I snapped and pulled him out of that school. This school also gives no independence to the students. Everywhere in the school there is a teacher. During their "Falcon Focus" or advisement there is a assistant principal outside the bathroom. During lunch, all teachers are in the cafeteria watching the students. Another Problem is the use of drugs by students. On multiple occasions teachers have found students with drugs and only referred the students to the office. The office doesn't care either, so the student with illegal drugs only gets ISS or OSS.

I'm hearing constant complaints from my two kids who attend this school that classroom behavior is out of control. There appears to be a lack of leadership in that the principal seldom shows herself and the kids realize there are no consequences. My son came home with bruises today after being hit and kicked by another student today. I am finding myself having to reteach my kids the concepts they were supposed to 'learn' that day by sitting there filling out worksheets. There are a few teachers who seem to care about making sure the students do well and are happy, but my experience has been that they are outnumbered by those who don't.

My son used the special education department. Without his 8th grade language arts teacher / reading teacher- he would've been lost in HS. Mrs. O rocks!! ( difficulty reading due to light autism) . I found all of the 8th grade teachers important, professional and relevant. Some small exceptions in one elective ( computers.).

My son went through this school needing some extra help from special education. The 8th grade language arts teacher Mrs. O launched him into 9th grade. He absolutely made up 2+ years of reading level. ( difficulties due to autism.) Without her, and 2 other of his teachers he would've been lost.

I found the school and the administration lacking any common sense.
My children have never been so unhappy. The teachers had no clue what the students were doing in class or if they were doing any work in class. I spent more time trying to teach my children and catch them up on what was not turned in then the teachers. I had multiple meetings with the administration to no avail. I finally had to put them in a private school just to finish the sixth grade.
Parents beware.

Bullying is out of control at this school. The administration has no idea what's going on and the counselor is inept. Children are harming themselves with the "eraser challenge" in class. Let me repeat, IN CLASS. The counselors and administration do not respond to parent concerns. WHO IS WATCHING OUR CHILDREN WHEN WE SEND THEM OFF TO SCHOOL?????

This school and Etowah have done a great job. I have 3 children who have been through E.T.Booth and Etowah. My son is still at Etowah but the first two have had no problem getting into the universities of their choice. This tells me these schools are doing a good job. Thanks!

E.T. Booth is a great school. My daughter has worked harder and learned more this year than prior years. Teachers did work her hard but when they saw that she could handle harder work they were quick to contact me about moving her into a harder class. The principals are firm but fair. They do not allow bullying or mistreatment of the students or teachers. They have rules and I am glad they do and enforce them. It made for a great year!

My child is being tested for learning disabilities and this school seems to think they have the right to deny my child going on a lgpe field trip with chorus when I know she turned in papers and money. They are not organized they sit papers where ever they are rude and do not care about your child , I would not reccomend this school to anyone. Do not send your child here , it will be a mistake!!!

I am a Sub at several Middle Schools and Booth is one of my Favorite. The Teachers are GREAT, the Admin are very supporting and the kids are well behaved and motivated as well. I can't think of anything negative in my several years of subbing there.
