No, my daughter age 6 was bullied and the teachers did not even separate the two in class. They continued to allow him to sit next to my daughter.

No, not at all. The school advertises small class sizes and we expressed our learning challenges in the beginning with no support.

The principle at this school is not very approachable and does not get back with the parents on serious issues.

My two children attended Pinehurst (K3 and K5). We loved the K3 teacher, she was amazing. My son talked about her every day. On the other hand it was a nightmare for my daughter in the K5 class. Originally, we were told there would be small class sizes and that was our major concern. We were misled from the beginning. There are 23 students in the PK5 class they told the parents that they were going to hire another teacher and never did so they could split the class up. We could have enrolled her in public school and received the same curriculum, class size, and hands on with the classwork (which was none). My daughter has been in daycare since she was 8 months old and we didn’t have any of the issues that we experienced in this “Christian” school. My daughter was bullied by one of the boys in her class for over a month and the last incident made us take our children out. She was beat up by an older student (boy) on the playground and no one came to her aide. We are furious! We had to take her to the doctor because she woke up with pain in her back, stomach, and head (where she was hit). The lack of supervision and empathy at this school is unreal. This was not what we signed up for. Our children love going to church and being in a Christian atmosphere but this is truly not a Christian setting and the yelling and screaming at the children will leave scars for years….

Although my son has not yet begun Pre-K4 at Pinehurst, I am pleased with the course outline. It consists of learning to read simple words (i.e., mat, pat, cat) and doing basic addition (i.e., 1+1, 2+1, 3+1). Initially, I planned to place my child in public Pre-K, but was advised by some of my colleagues who are teachers within the public school system, that public Pre-K standards do not really allow worksheets that teach reading and mathematical skills. For the past 2 years, I have been diligently working with my son at home teaching and reinforcing reading and math skills. I could not allow him to be placed in a learning institution that soley focuses on social skills, and not reinforcing what I have already taught.

The teachers are first rate, the ones I've met anyway. They care for not only what your child learns academically but about their knowledge of the Bible and God's love for them.

Phinehurst Christian School is an excellent school with a real love for children and guiding the in the path of knowledge and Gods' love.

My child attends this school and I have noticed a tremendous difference in his studies. My child is much more advanced than his peers that live around us academically and I do believe this school is the reason for that.
