Student's are rude, don't care about their work, plus what happened yesterday. It's unsafe and teachers aren't the best people to be around.

This school need some one that really care about these students for example I had 2 kids graduated from this school and when I tell you its suck they dont pass out no middle school diploma what is a blue rope please explain that to me when my daughter graduated from that school 2 years ago same thing cheap everything so you telling me all that printer paper they have they couldnt give our kids proper paper diploma smh glad my kids out this school

My brother was enrolled at this school (and he's a special needs student) and they took a week to process his records and get him into school. Now they call every other day for some problem that may or may not be real.I don't appreciate how the kids make fun of him and the teachers don't do anything about it, but they don't have a problem calling us to drop everything we're doing to pick him up from school.

Ok to start of the school is great the teachers are very invested in teaching the problem is the students most of them are just dumb they dont care or try to pass but the one thing there good at is fight all they do is fight we were put in a lock down because of fights and in homeroom for 2 weeks because of the fights. on 2 separate occasions they had to call dogs for drugs and while Im in class some of them talk how they just did drugs. I have also seen so much stupidity. If you invest your self in the classes there easy. The teachers dont do anything about bullying mostly because there is little to no bullying.if your in a fight you will be suspended even if your didnt start it the staff is done with every one. The last thing , the food is ok no nutritional value to speak off and its the same thing every week but its free for us but pack a lunch once a while

As a former Lindley student I can honestly say that my middle school experience was different from others in the county. We were often treated like prisoners, there were constant violent fights, and quite a few girls (aged 11-14) wound up pregnant. That being said, we all tried our best. Teachers endured through impossible situations and kids pushed past their home lives with the hope that they could learn and improve. I have friends from Lindley going to Princeton, NYU, GATech, USC, and Vanderbilt. Most of them also got great scholarship money. If you have a determined kid and can't afford Whitfield, don't worry he or she will be fine.

This is our son's first year at Lindley Middle, coming from Lindley 6th Grade Academy, and we were hoping that Lindley Middle would be a seamless extension of Lindley 6th grade but both are vastly different.
At Lindley Middle I don't care for how the kids are treated like prisoners, regardless of whether they have disciplinary issues or not, and are made to walk in a line from class to class, and if they break the line are disciplined. They can only go to lockers at the beginning and the end of the school day, and if they go to the restroom for too long they're disciplined for that as well. I am concerned that this could cause serious issues with their sense of self worth and value.
Many of the teachers that he's had this year have been great, but there are a few that are bad apples and administration does little to help. The worst being Mrs. Sims. There have been numerous unanswered emails, constantly failing to enter grades on time (often times after report cards and progress reports have been issued), and no-shows to scheduled parent/teacher conferences.
Anxiously waiting until the school year is over. He will most likely not return.

Lindley Middle School is located on Veterans Memorial Highway and is situated in the heart of Mableton. We have been at this location since 2001. The middle school is the home to over 1050 seventh and eighth grade students. Our vision of supporting our students through pathways of success can be seen being executed daily on our campus. I heard this school was one of the worst schools before ms.Morris are new price pal came. She turned this school around their has been no problems all year. And the teachers like ms. Jones are what make this school great

I hope LMS gets a new principal that has the initiative to turn the school around. Currently, the administrators do not back the teachers or the school discipline policy. Students are permitted to harass teachers and fellow students with little to no repercussions. Whatever people had to say about Mrs. Ervin, she knew how to control the students and foster a relatively safe atmosphere. As a teacher, I was pretty miserable under her reign, but I would rather deal with the condescending atmosphere that went along with high expectations than fear for my life as students run the school. With appropriate leadership, Lindley is a tolerable place. However, I would NEVER send my children to the school. No matter what the administrators and teachers are doing, the lack of parent involvement at school and home is a huge issue. Students can only be taught so much at school. Life lessons should be taught at home and reinforced at school. Without parent support, the school and the majority of students within are doomed to failure. Many families in the area send their kids to Whitfield Academy rather than Lindley and Pebblebrook HS.

I absolutely hate this school. The teachers at Lindley middle is helpful at times but can be very unprofessional. My child loves mr leu he is a great language arts teacher and is very helpful. The students at Lindley are very rude. My first time going to Lindley I hated the atmosphere and the way the school was ran. They make the students walk on a burgundy line as if it was a prison. Mrs Ervin is no longer there and the new principal looks like he doesn't know what he is doing. There is little to no parent involvement.. There is hardly ever school events or fundraisers. Beware of Lindley middle school I do not recommend this school to any one

Lindley Middle is an excellent school. I believe the Principal, Ms. Ervin, is the driving force behind the school's success. She is a 100% involved principal and her staff works very hard to make sure that each student succeeds in academics, and in other parts of their lives...be it socially or mentally. She encourages and sets high standards for her students and staff, and as a result my daughter excelled as a student and as a young person building her future as a productive citizen.
