Cambridge International School is an award-winning boutique private preschool offering Early Childhood Education from Infancy through Pre-K with summer programs for alumni and friends up to age 12. We developed our bespoke curriculum from the belief that every child is uniquely talented and is both capable and deserving of an early childhood experience that encourages a love of learning, the fostering of curiosity, critical thinking skills, and the building of self-confidence. Our program is influenced by emergent and constructivist teaching approaches including those of Maria Montessori, Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, Bev Bos and the schools of Reggio Emilia.

CIP was an outstanding experience. I never imagined being sad when my son had his final day at the school but I was. Teachers came to say goodbye to him and cried as they did so. He (and every student) was so cared for and loved. The teachers at CIP truly treat every child as if they were their own. With that said, they still respected boundaries that should be respected.
Anytime I had a question or concern it was easy to get in touch with the appropriate individual. If I needed something quickly or a change in my son's schedule, CIP improvised to accommodate the request.
CIP gave my son exposure to an extremely diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. He was taught Spanish and sign language daily beginning his first day at 3 months old. The range of educational skills he was taught was outstanding. It was extremely applicable to his age and each student had an individualized plan.
The most comforting thing as a parent was how certain I felt every day that he was safe, cared for, and learning. At Cambridge International Preschool you get the education, safety, and passion of a large preschool that charges 50% higher tuition with the flexibility and attention to detail that only a smaller preschool can offer. Had we stayed in Atlanta we would have kept our son there until he began kindergarten. He would smile and leap out of my arms almost daily when I dropped him off. At his new school he cries and clings to me every single day. If that doesn't paint the picture of how wonderful CIP is then I'm not sure what else will.

My child attended from 3 months until 1 year before we moved states so this did not apply to him.

Every teacher has a genuine passion for teaching and caring for these children. I was taken aback by how invested these teachers are. There were days I would pick my son up and he would cling to his teacher because he wanted to stay and play.
On his last day, several teachers took the time to say bye to him and many cried as he left. That goes to show how invested and passionate these teachers are for every single child. There was no better feeling dropping my son off than knowing he was so deeply cared for.
When he was only about 6 months old he began using sign language to let us know when he was hungry or finished eating. We had never taught him sign language, he learned it all from his teachers. His primary teacher also spoke Spanish as her primary language. While he has not begun saying many words yet, he got a heavy dose of Spanish every single day.

Diversity was the thing I loved most about CIP. My son was exposed to different races, religions, cultures, and backgrounds every single day.

Communication is great. One huge advantage of a private preschool versus a giant chain corporation school is that it enables flexibility. If I needed something urgent, needed to change a day or time I had to drop my son off, etc. I was able to immediately get in touch with the school's director to discuss the situation.

Every child has their own unique learning plan. They do not place children into a learning box. Instead each child has their own schedule and path based on conversation between the teacher and parents.

My son attended from 3 months to 1 year of age so this did not apply.

It's a great school well beyond our expectations.
Our son attended pre-K June 2015 and the teachers, director and principal were all awesome. We had to move out of town and hence we discontinued but the environment was so homely and my child got to learn as well as explore a lot.The curriculum is so minutely detailed by the Director and they go above and beyond any of the parent's expectations.Hats of Ms.Suzanne..You certainly rock !!!

It's an international school. All international festivals are celebrated. So this thing does not come into picture

The director is awesome. She is very forthright and has her very unique way of sharing her thoughts about the child to the parent.

I can see it from my son who graduated from pre-K 2 years back from this school.

Our child just graduated and we literally cried at graduation for me and today for my husband as we went to pick him up from camp at a new school. Such a wonderful place and sometimes you don't realize how wonderful until you leave!

We love Cambridge International! My son attended what was supposed to be the most elite day care in the buckhead area, however, we very disappointed with the child care and the learning experience provided. Cambridge is a very loving and attentive school that supports various personalities. The teachers strive to understand each child and how they learn best. My son attended the school from 3 years old until he graduated last year to attend private school. He grew and learned so much at Cambridge. I recommend Cambridge to any family looking for excellent childcare and preschool education.

After looking into numerous options in the Buckhead area for childcare, we were very impressed from the start with Cambridge after meeting both the staff and the owners, Suzanne and Chris, who made us feel very comfortable and welcome in addition to really being able to articulate their education philosophy. After the first meeting, we immediately decided to enroll our sons into Cambridge. We had our two sons attend Cambridge for over two years, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for both us and our sons. We did end up moving out of the area due to our personal circumstances which by the way had nothing to do with Cambridge, and since then, we've put our children through two different schools by the name of Goddard and Primrose. However, we felt that neither matched anywhere near the excellence of Cambridge. What we mean by excellence is a feeling of warmth and passion from top to bottom, from owners to management to staff in addition to a firm commitment of providing the best quality education. Most importantly, Cambridge always felt like a family. As a matter of fact, our sons still to this day talk about their friends and teachers at Cambridge, so much so that we brought them back for parents' night out and graduation, and everybody remembered each other. If we were still in the area, we would still have our children enrolled in Cambridge, and we definitely miss the school. It's obvious that Suzanne and Chris care deeply and put their heart into it everyday. Coupled with a great internationally focused curriculum that focuses on how a child learns rather than simply what the child learns made Cambridge the best experience. We are not usually ones to write reviews, but because of the great experience, we felt very compelled to let people know about our awesome time with Cambridge. Absolutely would recommend this school.

Kids who start ahead stay ahead. This is the core belief of everything we do at Cambridge International School. From 3 months to Kindergarten, we ensure that our children develop into well-rounded, well-adjusted, and high-achieving children. There are important developmental processes that children need to master in order to advance. For instance, an unmet sensory need or key proficiency in the reading process will create developmental delays or reading difficulties in the elementary years. At Cambridge, we believe that preschool is just as important as college, if not more so. During the first three years of life, a child develops at an astonishing rate. Preschool children are not only making sense of their world, they are developing their ability to conceptualize, apply knowledge, form their personalities and learning dispositions and, most importantly, acquire a love of learning. Most of all, we believe that learning should be a fun and exciting experience. All children need and deserve a high quality preschool that not only meets their individual needs but works in a school/parent partnership . In the last five years, we have seen our graduates go on to become class leaders at the schools of their choice. Our school environment provides children with the tools to become independent, civic minded, successful, and confident students when they finally walk through those big elementary school doors . Cambridge is currently expanding their program as well as offering unique elementary camps for children ages 6 to 12. Please see our website for more further details.

Never change what you are doing! My child went from introvert to extrovert, confidant learner and happy kid. They teach character education and values in a secular setting. For me, education is critical but for him, he just wanted to learn and move and play like a boy. Cambridge knows how to teach kids like kids and they get great results. I never thought my son would learn to multiply in prekindergarten but he loves it. Like the Director said, "it is his gift". We graduate and on to the big school. I wish Cambridge went all the way up to 12th grade. There is magic there.

We love this school! It is such a warm, nurturing environment with all the things you hope to find in a preschool-devoted teachers, a strong curriculum that challenges my child but doesn't overwhelm him, an emphasis on other cultures and languages, and a dedicated director who knows each child as if she were their teacher. Parents' input is valued, suggestions and ideas are welcomed, and teachers/staff work closely with the parents, which all adds up to ensure that my child is happy at school, which feels more like a second home to him.

Let me start by saying I never give anything five stars. Nothing is perfect and neither is Cambridge. I love this school for many reasons and one is the continual learning on the part of the whole staff. My son is a handful sometimes, is very determined and yet he is a perfect angel at school. He loves to go, sings all the songs he learns, knows A to Z phonetically and couldn't be happier. The communication from the school is excellent and the food is likely better than what I prepare at home. I don't want perfect for my son, I want real life and the exposure to cultures and languages rates high with me. The parents are involved, they care about their kids and even the Director gets in the classroom and teaches. Cambridge is a great place and I'm glad we made the choice.

Cambridge offers both an enriching and loving environment and has been wonderful for both my children. My oldest just entered Kindergarten this year and she has already done so well...all due to the strong curriculum at the school and teaching of every child. There are many fun activities offered as electives and Spanish classes are provided to the children starting at Age 2. I would recommend this school to anyone in the Atlanta area looking for a quality preschool and a nurturing environment. We are so happy with our choice.

Cambridge is an amazing school that has a very personal approach to teaching that inspires the students to learn. Their approach to teaching is one that is focused on the individual student and not strictly the class as a whole. This allows the teachers to identify each students' strengths and weaknesses to foster the growth in those areas in which they excel and improve in the areas in which they don't. Before Cambridge we were at another school and felt our child was being held back based on her abilities as compared to the rest of her class. We are much happier now and would recommend anyone looking for a school that has teachers, parents and staff that really care about their kids/students to visit this school.

My family has been extremely happy at Cambridge for over 3 years. We have two children who have attended from Rising 3s through Pre-K. The small school feel allows parents to be completely involved while the robust curriculum promotes fun learning. The students are given an opportunity to learn and have fun all at the same time and, most importantly, in the manner that suits them best. As my children go into Kindergarten from Cambridge, I am more than confident that they will be beyond prepared both academically and socially. I would definitely recommend Cambridge to any family looking for a school that fosters amazing growth in a loving and creative environment.
