Saint John the Baptist Catholic School (SJBCS) is located in Kalihi near Fort Shafter and Tripler Army Medical Center and about six miles from Hickam Air Force Base and Pearl Harbor. The school offers a very safe and welcoming school environment with a low student-teach classroom ratio to ensure attentive and individual attention. Students are challenged by a strong curriculum skills, leadership and technological experience. Choir and the performing arts, and a sports program in volleyball and basketball are among the diverse extra-curricular activities offered to nurture individual talents and to develop well-rounded students. The School Board and PTG Board are very active members of the school administration who strongly supports the school philosophy. Parents and guardians are heavily involved and engaged with the wide variety of school activities and engagements. The school is fully accredited from the WASC and WCEA.

I have 2 daughters. 1 graduated in 2009 and my youngest is currently attending SJBCS. What I like most about SJBCS is the feeling of oneness: I feel like everyone is a family. Everybody knows your name. the teachers are very approachable I didn't need to schedule an appointment if I needed to speak with any of the them. The parents are very supportive in all school initiatives. Whatever and Whenever the school needs help on parents are always ready to help. The students are friendly, helpfull and respectfull. I'm sure glad we made the right choice to enroll our daughters at SJBCS. Thank you and Keep up the good work!
