I went to this school for one year. I was very unhappy. The school is very old and "falling apart", would really need a renovation. And it has many unnecessary and not understandable rules (like seniors and juniors have to eat separated from the sophomores and freshmen and there is no reason such as too little space, also the students are not allowed to park their cars on the schools parking lot even there is a lot of space) and there are way more. Also academically this school has not much to offer. And for this the tuition of 11.000 is way to high. I would not recommend going to this school. The only good this is the sport program PAC 5 the school is part of.

Lutheran High offers a close-knit environment and the basics necessary for college prep. The campus may be small and not much to look at from University Avenue, but it's the inside that counts. And as with any platform of education, it is up to the student to make the most of acquiring knowledge, and make the most of their experience while at Lutheran. I graduated prepared to take on the academic workload at the United States Military Academy and whatever challenges that followed. Additionally, the faculty are all very dedicated and have been teaching there for years, many of which have inspired me to not only continually improve and be a lifelong learner, but to pursue a career in teaching through the University of Southern California's MAT program.

This is a small school with a very dedicated staff. The environment is very welcoming to all students and everyone, staff and students, are very friendly and respectful to one another. The academics are very good and students will be prepared for college. My son is thriving here and while LHS does not have a large or fancy campus, it has the necessary requirements to provide an excellent education in an easy going atmosphere.

The teachers were great; I really enjoy the student teacher ratio; the teachers are always available for help if needed.
