This is a wonderful school. Even though I am not a Lutheran, I still feel welcomed here. Even though the math curriculum is not great, there are wonderful teachers to explain it. There are not many foreign language courses though, so that might be a downside. The teachers are all very friendly, and I enjoy talking with and learning from them. There are many events taking place during the year, including my personal favorite, May Day. I love this school, I feel at home here, and I will be sad to leave when I graduate this year.

Our son has had an amazing experience at Trinity for 6 years (K-5). Our son has mild Autism and ADHD but has excelled in every area. Academics, Christian education, and sports. I can not say enough good things about the teachers at Trinity Lutheran School. Our son feels so loved and loves his school. There is such a family feeling at Trinity. It is a small school that has so much to offer!

My son's 7th grade year has been fabulous! He was welcomed with open arms and has grown in his maturity, education, leadership, and confidence. Trinity has fostered each of these. We especially love the positive reinforcement recognizing accomplishments academically (honor roll, NJHS) and personally (birthdays, attendance, Fruits of the Spirit Awards). We are so grateful to have found this gem right outside Schofield Barracks. It was the perfect choice for us, especially coming from homeschooling. You get what you pay for!

Appropriate amount of homework assigned in middle school. Teachers communicate well between each other to ensure some space to be kids.

Teachers at Trinity are energetic and knowledgable in their area of study, which engages my student.

Respect, forgiveness, and love are the standard inside the classroom and out. Partnerships (Buddies) between upper and lower grades forms bonds across the student body.

Ohana atmosphere among staff positively affects the "feeling" and cohesiveness logistics within the school.

Compassion and empathy are nurtured at Trinity. Students frequently stand up for each other FIRST. Then, if necessary, teachers and administration take charge.

My son and daughter both feel confident and loved when they go to school each day, and we know they're receiving an excellent education in the safety of small classes and caring teachers. Love that they go all the way to 8th grade so we don't have to worry about what we'll do for middle school. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

Trinity Lutheran School is a great, smaller, loving school. Class sizes are small and the teachers really care about the well being and development of their students.

My son has been at Trinity Lutheran since he was in kindergarten, next year he will be going into third grade. He went into elementary school with difficulties controling his imagination. While he was not disruptive, he was a big daydreamer and between the nurturing guidance of his teachers and the high quality curriculum he is doing amazing! We are excited for our daughter to start kindergarten there next school year. This school has become a huge part of our ohana and we couldn't ask for more.

This school needs a lot of help. From faculty to administrators even the front desk staff. Numerous times have I experienced faculty that was rude and inconsiderate. Nothing what you would think or expect from a school that is supposed to be Luthran.

Small class size allows teachers to be more aware of classroom dynamics. Love and forgiveness are emphasized.

Even though there is no resource teacher, small class size and dedicated teachers contribute to success in helping students with special learning needs. My son had veteran teachers who could really help accommodate his active mind.

The principal opens each school day with the entire school around the flag pole. His love and care for the kids is evident.

Love and forgiveness are emphasized. No one is expected to be perfect. Children are allowed to be themselves.

Communication between teachers and parents is a priority so it is really a team effort to help all children succeed.

Reading and math review are emphasized for homework in appropriate amounts.

Trinity has helped to build character and compassion in my child. The kids look out for each other and appreciate differences in each other. This school is interested in educating the whole child spiritually, socially, and academically. I never thought my challenging little three year old would develop into such a conscientious, caring third grader. I am so thankful for his teachers and this environment.

While the school seems to be nurturing many things are not addressed well, including, bullying. The academics are mediocre at best. We are glad we left and went to a school with higher standards for academics and behavior.

Used to be a good school. Things have changed. Lots of favoritism amongst "staff kids". Teachers teaching their own children. Glad we left.

Favoritism amongst "staff kids"
Teachers own child assigned to their class...unacceptable in so many ways.
This used to be a good school many years ago.

School is great. Two of my kids go there now and when my third is ready, then they will go as well. The school is positive and constructive. Very intelligent staff. Aloha~
