Admin lady is very rude. She doesnt depict the schools mission and vision - CARES! She talks very discriminatory.

My two young kids both love going to Ho'okele Elementary. The teachers and office staff are caring, responsive and helpful at solving problems. They always make an effort to smile and say good morning to everyone when entering the school grounds. We also receive a lot of communication from their teachers and the school, and are always kept up to date with any events or issues. This is a fairly new school, so the school grounds still look really good and are kept clean. Their teachers also do a great job with classwork, homework, preparing for quizzes and blending all of this with technology.

My daughter is a 4th grade student at Hookele Elementary, and we are very pleased with the school. The teachers and the principal are excellent!!! In addition, we like the parental engagement at this school. Yes, there are more homework assignment but my daughters grade also improved a lot! Her 4th grade teacher in particular was extraordinarily helpful in a myriad of ways, as well as incredibly kind, hardworking . She made such a big difference in her world, and I am endlessly grateful for all that she did.

It is a nice newly built building with great funding and technology. The staff and students are bullies. They assign a ridiculous amount of homework that essentially allows the parent to teach the children from home. My once school-loving child spent 2nd-4th grade here and we are still mending the damage. Conferences and voicing concerns were not helpful and if I could have afforded private schooling or home schooling, it would have been a better option. I guess that's the price you pay for living in "paradise". I'm just thankful we moved before reaching middle school.
