woodside teacher give their students time in class to complete assignments and ask for help if needed. My child rarely came home with homework and did great in all classes.

Great teachers all around. They truly care for the kids and would do anything to help the kids do better. Every Wednesday morning kids have a late start to allow teachers to do training.

Principal Heyer is by far the BEST principal Ive met. Hes always fair to the kids. He cares deeply for the kids and always has an open door for kids and parents.

Excellent! Saydel school seem to have a bad reputation due to its past. This district has COME A LONG WAYS in the past 10 years. It truly is a small school within a big community. Its NOT part of the Des Moines or Ankeny districts. It is its own district. Kids have the opportunity to play all sports, involved in band, choir, Mock Trial and more! Many end up starting college courses at DMACC their sophomore year of high school. Many graduating with their high school diploma and AA degree in the same month!

The Saydel School District is a great district to put your kids in. The communication and teachers are great at Saydel.
