Let me preface this with the fact that I do not have children that attend this school. But if I did I would remove them from this place immediately.
I interacted with one of the teachers from this school at the skatepark right next to the school. The group of kids were playing in the skatepark being generally aware of where they were going allowing other people to use the skatepark on bikes and scooters.

However, the older lady with a eastern European accent who was supervising the group of kids was awful. For one, she screamed at the children when they were playing when they did not follow her instructions immediately. The way she spoke to the kids was extremely aggressive and hostile. She also told other people riding the skatepark on bikes that they are not allowed to be at the park because the group of kids was there playing. If anything, the group of kids is being put in danger being at the skatepark as it is not intended as a playground and they could be injured.

This lady is not fit to be working with children and should absolutely be fired. I hope school faculty looks into the matter.

Twice a day, I am at school - to drop my kid and for pick up. I observed many times, let say at music lesson, that teachers are very patient with my child and other childeren, who has a difficulties in participating in activieties

I would strongly recommend any parents of toddlers to enroll into Vernon Hills Montessori Academy SUMMER CAMP! They have an awesome program! I like the school a lot and I'm recommending to anyone who is responsible parent.

My 4 years old is going to school full time. He is more organized, learned quiet a Lot! Very Happy with the program, especially with MUSIC classes!

All Teachers are Knowledgeable, patient and with strong teaching abilities. Music teachers - (I counted 3 of them), are trained how to deal with different kids! My boy started to PLAY PIANO by himself after 5 lessons!!!!

My kid for sure has more Respect for elderly, and I'd say he is happier!

The administrative office is always available if I need to talk to them.
Never had any problem.

I am a very satisfied parent and my child has been attending VH Montessori since she was 2 years old. Very caring teachers, my child loves the daily Music time !

Wonderful Montessori program, the music program there is exceptional and innovative. Would recommend 10/10

Extremly dissapointed with the school. The students don't get challenged. Understaffed, three teachers taking care of all the kids. They do provide music class which is mostly not needed, they let the kids play in hot sun 2 or 3 times a day. They don't seem to have any clear structure. I would recommend a 0 if I can
