Terrible. Very entitled staff, very difficult to deal with, not transparent or truthful about many things. I wish I had never enrolled there.

I have twins, a boy and a girl, enrolled at Oak Terrace since kindergarten. They love the school, teachers and courses. The school open their mind to other language and culture, keeping them grounded and open to new experiences.

The work that my kids bring home is an extension of their day. They are able to show me what they are learning and explain the process. They are always excited to show me their homework and they receive positive reinforcement at school when completing it on time. The homework is not too much for them and they are not stressed out about completing it. This has been a very positive experience.

I have been so impressed with the kindness the kids show one another within the classroom, during recess and other activities throughout the day. This is a beautifully diverse school with many different cultures that are all warmly embraced.

The leadership is top notch. Great communicators, active in the community and have the kids best interests at heart. We are always greeted with a warm smile and encourage to volunteer.

This school is being compared to monolingual schools. This is a dual language school. Test scores will be lower when students are learning 2 languages. This is a top notch school. We are very happy at Oak Terrace.

Very good. Realize, this is a fully bilingual school. English speaking students learn all subjects in Spanish. There are natural declines in testing because kids learn everything in a second language. Studies show they surpass other students later.

I cannot say enough positive things about Oak Terrace School. My daughter is in the Dual Language program and has excelled. It is not our home school but we chose to send her to this school because of the wonderful program. The teachers are phenomenal as is the administration. The school also has a wonderful, cohesive community. My daughter is well on her way to being bilingual, Biliterate and Bicultural thanks to Oak Terrace School.

I attended Oak Terrace from 1st through 4th grades and loved it, though it was a long time ago. From learning the difference between "you're" and "your", how to use a comma appropriately, and basic math, I also developed a love of reading, learned to play fair, and gained confidence in myself. When people comment on my use of "the Queen's English", I tell them it was my education at Oak Terrace that made me the published writer I am today. Loved this school.

Oak Terrace is an excellent school with excellent teachers. It has been closely allied with the community ever since its beginnings. Best wishes to a new school year. As a former OTS teacher I know how hard everyone at Oak Terrace works to improve education for its students.

We originally chose this school and moved to this area because of the dual language program. Unfortunately, my son ended up having a learning disability and could not participate in the dual language program. However, the resources available for him have been fantastic and his special education teacher has been very involved in his progress. We are very happy to have chosen this school and look forward to enrolling our other two little ones here.
