We bought our house in Morton Grove based on the great recommendations for Park View. This school is not able to correctly handle bullying, physical incidents between students and has no control of the school environment. Classrooms will also be evaluated if one student is having an incident. You shouldnt have to ask your child if they had to stop learning and leave the classroom because one student could not handle themself. After talking to other parents, I was taken back by how many have similar experience's were shared. Only thing Park View has done good with is keeping this inappropriate behavior hidden from the public.

We had three students going to Park View school since 2009 until now. Park view was highly rated school back in 2005. and that was one of the reasons we moved from Chicago to Morton Grove. Through the years school had some ups and downs , due to changes in administration and teaching stuff ,but I think it is back on a great path for the past couple years since Mr. Condon become the principal and now as superintendent! Park view is the only public school in this area, that kids can attend from preschool to 8. grade.

My family moved here 8 years ago specifically to this area because of the great school Park View was. They made me hate learning. They cared more about their extracurricular success than their students well being. They taught me nothing that helped me succeed in life. This school only cares about how good their numbers look. I am going off to college this year and I am glad to get as far away from this school as possible.
If I could give this school less stars, I would. Do not send your kids here.

Overall this school has been wonderful for both my boys. Both have excelled in their academics here. One is in high school and currently in 80% AP classes. I feel that his elementary education had a lot to do with his success.

Great school, great staff. The rater referring to the expulsion and 'breathing funny causing expulsions' is absolutely unfair and incorrect. Obviously they think they know the particulars of the situation and they post their inaccurate representations on a board that people read when making decisions on a school. The school is safe and the staff is very responsive. I specifically moved into the district because of this school. I made the right choice and I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a great school where their kids can be kids and succeed. As for the rater with the expulsion issues, don't let your troubled kid attempt to buy a handgun from another troubled kid at school.

Solid faculty, community feel, year-round programs, music, athletics, advanced courses and consequences for behavior. Well managed, committed PTO parents. Diverse community. Heard that a kid who broke the law was expelled, which was exactly the right course of action in keeping all kids safe. Superintendent has some work to do to demonstrate his value. Principal and Assistant Principal are outstanding.

Excellent!! Students know each other and support each other, regardless of what grade they are in. Most teachers are responsive to parents and are willing to collaborate to ensure a great educational experience for children. Rigorous education with high value placed on technology.

This is a great school. The staff are very friendly, professional, and safety-conscious, the facilities clean and well maintained, and the curriculum excellent. A great school for my daughter.
