MHS was an amazing experience for all three of my children. They all excelled in different areas both academically, socially and in extra curricular. The opportunities to be involved were endless. Highly recommend this diverse high school experience.

Both of my children graduated, went on to accredited colleges and received a few degrees. One is a successful engineer and the other is studying to be a doctor. The school has many opportunities to be involved and all of their programs allow the student to excel. The teachers, staff and administration all are caring and want all to succeed.
I was very happy with MHS and what they offered.

Had two kids go through Mundelein HS in the past few years. Both have successfully transitioned to high ranking 4 year colleges.
Most of the teachers were great. The band experience is AMAZING! Great AP classes to choice from. Great clubs and outside activities to join. Great Administration. I know other HS in the area are perceived to be better but the experiences and the education my kids had was perfect for them.

Best school in the North suburbs. Has an exceptional music program that consistently achieves national and state level recognition. Mundelein high school is possibly the best high school for a student to explore and succeed in all their musical interests.

I have one daughter who graduated from MHS with high honors and is attending Notre Dame and another just starting her freshman year. MHS has provided a solid academic base for expanding one's mind with logic and reasoning. The rating given doesn't even begin to do justice to how strong thus school is for preparing students for the future.

Great experience! My son really blossomed in this school, got a huge scholarship, is in his Senior year at Drake and already has a job lined up.

My family had a poor experience in dealing with the school's policies spilling into our personal lives outside of school. I remember being pulled into the principles office because he heard a rumor that I had a party over the weekend.
Aside from this, the teachers themselves were great and they offer a good selection of AP courses.

College preparation begins freshman year. The teachers are engaging and invested in the students. The STEM program provides options for classes most other high schools don't offer. There are many sports and activities for students to get involved with. A lot of the sports and clubs excel state and nationwide.

Administrators are frequently out in the community and are hard working. These aren't people just floating through the motions waiting for a pension.

The new STEM wing is amazing. Learning spaces are flexible. It is truly designed to foster collaboration and innovation. I'm proud to have such a fine facility in Mundelein.

My first two children have had an amazing experience at MHS. We are looking forward to the new STEM addition that will make MHS even better!

All the teachers put the kids first. They all know the kids by name. The conferences are always a 2 way conversation.

1) The information reported is incorrect: most of Fremont feeds into Mund. HIgh School not Steveson.2) Less than 100 student out of 2500 are in the ESL program. 3) Mundelein high school as posted their highest ACT score EVER this year. 4) Enrollment in AP courses have doubled in the past 4 years. In addition I have two children at MHS. Both feel safe, accepted and academically challenged. Teachers, staff and administration know who kids are, contact parents when needed and are approachable and caring. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. It has been a Godsend having them at MHS.

Mundelein High School is above average in terms of the AP courses they offer and the recent renovations of the bathrooms and natatorium. The only exception would be the football team that has been a little shaky, but we do have a phenomenal swimming team. Connor Black broke seven of our eight pool records and even broke a state record and a national record on the 50 fly! We may not be diverse by ethical standards, but we've got a diverse educational curriculum.

Mundelein High School deserves a much better reputation than it has. My stepson attended MHS, which was the third high school he attended. The smaller school brought him out of his shell, along with involved teachers and respective and accepting classmates. The diversity helps the children to be respective of others. As such, bullying is NOT an issue. He ended up an honors student with an A/B average, accepted at a top college, and with a terrific group of friends. Please see the testing averages by group - we have students who do not yet speak English bringing down the overall average. If you look at kids who have English as their first language, they average is 10/10. If you are a parent that believes diversity is important and fears the social pressures (such as bullying), consider Mundelein. As a parent, I am proud of these students who seem to support each other rather than "pick on' those that are different.

Go MHS! The school has numerous AP course offerings and a variety of activities and sports, and award winning bands and choirs. While not all students excel, those who do are at the top of their game and are well-prepared for highly selective universities such as MIT.

I regret not moving out of Mundelein. this high school has been terrible to deal with, has limited course offerings compared to surrounding schools, and is poorly run.

This is the worst school I know of. The teachers are good, but the way this place is run is completely ridiculous! I moved out of Mundelein just so my kids wouldn't have to go here!

Mundelein High School is a school of opportunity helping to build great futures for Mundelein kids. The socio-economic makeup of our community is not able to support this, the only high school in our district as it should be to insure a competitive education opportunity for it's ehtnically diverse student body. The per-capita ratio of funding is sorely below other districts around us. There is much we could accomplish with this opportunity!
