The school itself is fine, its just the students that make my school year unbearable. Teachers are helpful and are able to make the students day better. The teachers I have are very supportive and dont mind late work. They push me to do my best, while being understanding in the process. The school lunch is great too. Huge shoutout to the lunch people and the janitors. The school is always clean. I really do love this school, its just the people in my grade dont really let me be who I wanna be, and I feel pressured to fit in. But thats about it, Emerson is a great school with great spirit and yeah!

My niece and nephew have gone through this school and are BEYOND accelerated at Maine South. Emerson is just such a great well-rounded school that the entire state of IL should be jealous of.

being socially anxious, i had a horrible time at this school. definitely recommend trying to look somewhere else if you have a kid that struggles social anxiety.
