im a current student at the O'plaine campus, I think the school is pretty mid at helping out students and bullying but the teachers are great. Mr skidmore and Mr caswick are the goats. also Mr Gray is pretty cool. Overall I've been learning a lot and they teach pretty well. there are a lot of good extracurriculars and a good fine arts system. all in all I think Warren is a 7.8/10

Our time at Warren has been deeply troubling. Equity rating has gone down 50% in the last 3 years since we have been attending. As a black family we have found Warren to treat black students unfairly. My child received all A's and was in 95th percentile on standardized tests. Upon entering Warren, my child's letter grades have dropped significantly although test scores are still high. We have had racist attacks from other non-minority students and my child has been in therapy trying not to succumb to inequity, lack or support and marginalization we've witnessed at Warren. Warren has severely impacted my child's academic performance and overall well being. The anti-discrimination policies seem to be purely symbolic. Our family's personal experience has been overwhelmingly negative, although there are some staff members who have shown genuine concern or made efforts to support my child, those staff have been few and far between and those members are completely overshadowed by the systemic issues rooted within the school at its core.

I just graduated from Warren, it was an okay experience. I struggled a lot with my classes and for the most part, the school tried to help me. They don't really care about students' mental health which is disappointing. You want to be able to trust your counselors but you'll end up hearing that they called your parents and told them everything you said. The teachers were mostly nice and welcoming. When the pandemic hit and we changed to e-learning, I could tell that the teachers were really trying their best to keep the students active and engaged. I've had a couple of teachers that really love the subject their teaching and that makes the class so much better and more fun.

I had a wonderful experience at Warren (especially at the Almond Campus). Warren made me into a much stronger, and better person, and I can't thank them enough. Their math and english department are phenomenal, and I was very fortunate to attend this great, no wait, AMAZING school district. The support I had was incredible, and I will definitely come back and visit my teachers sometime. I also greatly appreciated the positive and welcoming learning environment that Warren provided each and every day.

My child has been bullied for 2 years now and the school has been aware and did nothing to address the issue. Now my daughter has physically assaulted for the 2nd time by the same girl. Once, outside of school and once inside the school.
They state they support bullying- HUGE LETDOWN

An excellent school. It is large and competitive if you are an athlete, however there are many clubs and other activities that students can get involved. Additionally, this school is a microcosm of society in that it is diverse and kids come from all income levels.

The teachers do not know how to do their jobs. Only a select few are actually involved and communicate well with their students. The teachers are not relatable and they don't know how to reach their students.

The student board doesn't really get a say in anything the school does, and it is run by rich people who buy their way in. The school gives no choices to its students about its dress code, budget, promoted activities, cancelled classes, ect.

The teachers don't pay attention to their students and the deans try to brush everything under the rug. If you are popular or an honor roll student, you would be able to survive unscathed. Otherwise, you might be pushed around without the help of teachers, security guards or deans. The security policy there is also ridiculous. The front and side doors are often left unlocked and before or after school just about anybody that appears to be a student can waltz right in. It's terrifying to know that they are so lenient about protecting the future of this country.

This was a horrible school for any student who isn't an athlete, popular or AP. Everyone else gets lost through the cracks as this is a gigantic school--the senior class is larger than the college I teach at. They can't keep up with all the students. Special Needs students are treated the worst here of any school our child attended. Severe shock after the wonderful Woodland Middle School where everything was done to give my child the help needed to succeed.

I am currently a junior at this school, and honestly I wouldn't want to be at any other high school. It's perfect for me and for many other friends of mine. It's one of the biggest schools out there, and even though I have anxiety, I love that, because everyone is different and there's no cliques that are based on being popular or not, or something like nerds vs jocks. Everybody is friends with each other. I never see anyone get bullied. There use to be a ton of fights in O'Plain campus, but that was because of some drama, with faults on both sides usually. Still, I always have felt safe. I also love how diverse we are. #1 in Illinois. Nobody here is racist, or at least don't show it. Another benefit would be all the choices of classes you can take. There's so many, it's hard to choose from sometimes. The teachers are great. Not only do they really care, but they're cool. They get you & joke around here and there to make it a fun class, but we always learn so much. They connect with you so that they can understand your way of learning and any struggles you have, whether its an emotional or academic issue, they're always happy to help/get you help. My grades have never been better.

I'm a graduate alumni for the class of 2008. I just want to say that Warren is such an amazing school! the campus is great and the student population is very diverse. Many of the teachers at Warren are very passionate about teaching and it really reflects through the students. Graduation rate is very high and the school does a great job motivating students to continue a higher education. There are so many school atheltics and clubs to join and everyone definitely loves showing their school spirit. The Principle and Deans do a great job getting involved with school activities and really leading the school to the success that it has been having from generation to generation. There is several AP courses provided that give students an advance placement with college credits.

My daughter is a sophmore at this school and attended as a freshman as well. Wonderful school experience. We had the choice to go here or Libertyville school district and so glad we choose Warren instead.

I think the school is excellent I never had a problem from any teachers, or others staff members. I had two that graduated and one more there and never was unhappy about the school. If I came up on a problem it was quickly resolved and leaving me pleased. I never felt that the school was more for the whites nor the blacks. I think that they were more for the students because education shouldn't have a color. Reguardless, of how we feel about the staffs if the students don't want the education then it will be hard for the teachers to teach which will make it hard for the other students who wants to learn. My family and I don't have much but I want my children to know that having an education is like having gold that no one can't take away from you no matter what.

My daughter is a freshman at Warren Township High School. Even before she started her first day, the school was involved with making her high school experience the best it could be. The principal at the Almod campus id GREAT and you can tell that he truely cares about the children in the school. They encourage the parents to be involved in thier childs education. The teachers are really good with communicating with the parents and keep you well informed of your childs progress, especially when there is a problem that can be addressed before it becomes a detriment in thier performance. For the number of students enrolled at the school, you would expect they would be too busy too busy, but that is definately not the case at Warren. It truely is a great school, with caring staff and educators, and they provide a top quality educational experience.

I'm a junior at Warren and I've gone here all three years.Yeah, it has its flaws. For example, it's so big. For some students its overwhelming, but its size enables students to have opportunities that smaller schools just can't provide. And even though Warren is so large, students don't have to get lost in the crowds. One merely needs to take initiative. You want extra help from a teacher? You merely need to seek them out, they won't come to you. The teachers are of quality and there are many opportunites given where students can take the opportunity to get extra help. And because Warren is so big, we have colleges visiting from around the country to court students, and it is easy to be able to speak with, and get info from, someone from a college in California, New York, or Texas. Many AP courses are offered, there's even one for freshmen, which is really helpful later on, and economical. The fine arts programs are awesome, and the sports are plentiful. Yes, there are issues, espcially at the O'Plaine Campus. But no school is perfect, and things definetly improve as students mature and move to Almond Campus.

You know I have never walked one step in this high school, but I am contemplating moving to Gurnee. Thanks to all the selfish parents and students that have their two bit opinions about the most minor issues, and then you read it and are not sure what to make out of it. My goodness can people complain. I guess it's your God given right, but the glass is not always half full. Their facilities are too nice! Not enough emphasis on sports, too much emphasis on sports. The floors are clean, no they aren't.. Lord.. Get a grip!! I give it a 5 just to balance out some of the stupidity!

i was a a student at warren, it does have really good education but the racism is incrediably higghh the teachers and and the staff willl always favor the whites I WILL NEVER EVER SEND MY CHILDREN HERE !!!! so they can get mentally and emotianally damaged? NO THANKS!

i am currently a junior at warren township high school i love the school and all that it has to offer the teachers are great and really interact with each and every student and are more than happy to stay with you after school if you need extra help also the environment is great
