I have 3 kids and have been in the district for 9 years. From k-8 I have never had a teacher I didn't like. The district has always been ahead of the game when it comes to teaching respect and helping the kids get along. Any small issues I've dealt with have been rectified immediately. The schools are very organised and always seem to have thought of everything. I recommend the district all of the time and wil avoid leaving the district at all costs.

WONDERFUL SCHOOL! We're sad to leave Woodland Primary. The entire staff have huge hearts for kids, whether it's the front office, teaching staff, aides, specialists, custodians, etc. Each staff member is there because they want to make a positive impact on the lives of children. We are forever grateful for the wonderful start our children had at Woodland Primary.

Our two children have gone through Primary and have loved every minute. Our daughter started out in Pre-K for two years and then went into the Dual Language Program. Our son started in K in the Dual Language Program. We've been so pleased with the dedication, compassion, and effort each of their teachers put into the children's education.

My daughter was speech delayed and they did have intervention available to her. It was only once every two weeks for a half an hour however so it wasn't very helpful

Don't care and truly make it very clear that they don't and won't be taking the time to invest any energy in helping to correct any sort of verbal or physical aggression towards another child

It is heartbreaking that my daughters education started here. This school has a prison like atmosphere. Both the physical structure and the "teachers" it employs are in disrepair. A complete overhaul is in order.

Kindergarten. Children do not get homework in kindergarten

My daughter had a substitute teacher at least two days a week. Sometimes 3 times every couple of weeks. Very lazy , disinterested, apathetic, short tempered, and unappreciative of parents efforts and support.

Not at all. My daughter was bullied from the get go. When my husband and I addressed the issue it was very obvious that we would not be getting any help from the principal or teachers.

Stacey Anderson is extremely impressed with herself. She has a very myopic view of the daily operations of education. She is unconcerned, impatient, and easily bothered by the process of being an educator in a leadership role.

My Daughter went to this School in 2014 and we as Parents were impressed with the quality of activities and education in general this school provided. We are both working parents and have full time work 5 days a week. We were nervous moving our kid from Montessori to a public. But i can say with confidence she did as well as she was in montessori and possibly better. The best thing about Primary on Gageslake was it had Champions before care and after care inside the same building and was super convenient for us. My Daughter was always keen to get to school everyday. The activities were varied and inline with top school offerings. I did have some Billing issues and other small issues but the School and Teachers itself which counts for quality of education were excellent.
