St. Norbert School is amazing. Our child has been thriving in this environment with the support of a speech therapist and learning specialist. The community and faith based education are exactly what we were looking for. The academics, social support, and the community overall is why this school gets such high ratings. We have used the before and after care program where children socialize, get homework done, and have fun. Sports and so many different clubs are offered at the school. This school educates the whole child and we highly recommend this school to everyone.

This is our first year at St. Norbert School, and we've had a wonderful experience. The community feels like an extended family of people who care about developing wonderful human beings. Our daughter is thriving academically, socially, and spiritually. We are thrilled with our choice.

As a first year family, we could not have been more pleased with how this school year went. The academics/teachers are top-notch, the administration is supportive and receptive to feedback, but what we love the most is the wonderful community which our children get to be a part of each day, a community which values character development and the importance of service to others. St. Norbert School educates the whole child- mind, body, and spirit. My children enjoy going to school each day, and our whole family has made wonderful new friends. This school is a blessing.

I am so pleased with the experience of St. Norbert. I took my son out of public school and couldn't be happier of the decision. He has excelled so much. The community is so welcoming! My son is happy and he loves his peers.

This school has been incredible for my two daughters who are 5 and 8. There is a wonderful community to meet new people, families, and activities. My husband and I both work and we feel like the community of kids, parents, and teachers is truly what sold us and why we stay. The teachers are amazing as well and most graduates get into all of the excel and honors classes at local high schools.

The difference between St Norbert kids vs other schools is so easy to spot. There is an emphasis on religion, the golden Rule, and being a Christian. It shows!

St. Norbert School is excellent. Our child is in preschool and is so excited to go to school everyday. What more could we ask for! The teachers are amazing and take the time to differentiate their learning for the kids in the class - something incredibly hard to do for kids of this age when a six month age difference really changes things for a child. Their play based approach ensures kids have fun, all while learning all the things needed to be ready for kindergarten.

Homework is assigned with a specific outcome in mind. The student learns to manage their workload, and grows in knowledge of the subject matter with assignments that are manageable and on point.

As a medium size school, St. Norbert School has a seasoned staff dedicated to their pupils. The teachers not only have great classroom management and experience, they take extra time wherever it is needed to help their students. St. Norbert School is the unique school that has best in class academics, a learning environment dedicated to the Catholic faith and educating the whole child. In addition the school offers many no cut sports, great electives and a true community. Great people. Our current high school freshman graduate is thriving in honors classes at Loyola and our current St. Norbert student is also having a great experience. A true North Suburban gem.

We have two children at St. Norbert and are very happy with our decision to attend this school. The teachers and administration give 100% effort in providing a faith-based education.
The smaller class sizes have been an added bonus – the teachers are very attentive to how each student is doing and truly make an effort to ensure that all the children understand their lessons/assignments.
This is truly a close community of families who are all striving to make St. Norbert school the best it can be.

We currently have 2 children at St. Norbert. Having another child that had gone through the public school in the same district, we saw right away the difference between schools was like night & day . Our ongoing experiences with St. Norbert solidify our choice every day. They actually care about your child as a whole. Our kids can't wait to go to school every day, that in itself speaks volumes.

I have 2 children who went to St. Norbert, one is a recent graduate and another is a student in the junior high. Beyond the excellent academic environment that the school provides, being one of only 3 blue ribbon schools in Northbrook; the school community of caring teachers along with active and involved parents makes this place very special. The other day my daughter, the recent graduate, turned to me with a tear in her eye and said "Thank you for sending me to St. Norbert, it's the best thing you ever did for me." What more can a parent ask for then that kind of review.

We send our two children to St. Norbert and are so happy with our choice. It's tough to decide where to go in Northbrook with all the great public schools but we've never regretted our choice. Not only are the academics strong, but together with living their faith daily it's a powerful combination! The individual attention they receive is spectacular and all the families are so involved, which is unusual. I wish more people could take a peak inside the doors and see all the magic going on inside. We know our children will be forever impacted in this world because of the overall experience they have had at St. Norbert!

I have 3 children at St. Norbert School now and I cannot say enough about the expertise and professionalism of the teachers and administration. We have seen all of our children grow to be wonderful people and the experiences they have had at St. Norbert are a huge part of that. The faith based education they are receiving is not only preparing them for the rest of their education, but is also giving them the tools to be good people as they grow. The school has had some challenges in the past with respect to the leadership, but the current administration has made huge strides towards bringing the school back to greatness in a short amount of time. I am excited by the current direction of the school and am proud to say that all of my children will be graduates of St. Norbert School.
