Our family has attended Aspen for 8 years, and have highly valued the close knit, friendly and positive environment. They have dealt with a variety of learning needs over the years with our children, and have fostered a love for learning and healthy social relationships.

I have been very pleased with this school. My daughter has received the accommodations she needs, and the teachers have all been great! We were considering moving, but we aren't because we want to stay in this school district.

We're first timers to the elementary school world. The teachers, administrators, and PTO are great at communicating events, issues, and any other needs. We feel well informed about our child's progress as a student there. Teachers really involve the parents in the learning process for their children. I've been very pleased with our child's progress from a daycare kiddo to an elementary student. He's excelled so much in a few short months. Excellent public education in Lake County indeed.

As a grandfather who had served 10 years as an elementary school board member in Lake County, it is amazing what my grandson, age 8, is learning and is showing me from his packet. He was reprimanded and a correction was made by his teacher and a counselor when his clique of 3 bullied another boy on the playground and in the after school program. But, it wasn't preventative. I feel that there should have been better observation/supervision here. The adults hired for the after school program seem more interested in safety, for good reason, plus it's activities are spread out over a large area. Dated 10/09/2017

Very unhappy with the student to teacher ratio. 27 students per teacher. Bullying is an issue, sometimes happens very subtly and sometimes obvious. Teachers not very effective,

Very unhappy with the school and the principal. Don't go if you have a special needs student.
