Horrible experience with this school. The principal, nurse and office staff are definitely under trained to keep it respectful. The principal here should take her evilness somewhere else away from the children. The nurse is definitely unaware and uninformed. And 1 of the ladies in the office should do something that makes her happy not miserable.
In my case charter school was best.

The principal was one of the first people I met when enrolling my son. He's really nice and all the students and staff seem to really like him.

AJK has a wonderful principal. He is a great leader who mentors students and focuses on a growth mindset. The community is close knit and the school is supported by a fantastic organization that brings many resouces to the school.

I really appreciate the effort that the principal and school faculty take to plan for student success. They have great processes in place for parent communication and involvement. They hold high expectations for the students and see that they take every step to reach them.

My sons 3rd grade teacher was nothing short of amazing! Anytime i had questions about anything that was going on in the classroom, he prompted me to stop by and made sure i was always in the "Know" of what went on in the classroom. Being a single parent and working full-time, i was always on top of what my son was learning in the classroom because of the relationship i had built with his teacher.

The principal really cares about the students that he works with on a day to day basis. There aren't many students that he doesn't know by first AND last name and makes sure that he teaches them respect but shows it to them as well.

Our daughter's teacher has been wonderful for our daughter. She meets our daughter at her level and continues to challenge her academically.

AJK's core values encourage integrity, honesty, respect and fairness within the school. We are pleased with how the school presents this daily.

Our daughter is in her first year at AJK and we are a military family. Our daughter is extremely gifted and academically above her grade level. AJk has met our child's needs and helped our child excel and grow even further than we could have expected.

AJK prides itself on it's RRCC's which are a set of standards that each cadet as well as the staff are held to. The values that are being instilled in these cadets are apparent in every interaction. As a military family we have moved and attended a few schools and AJK by far places the greatest level of focus on honesty, integrity, and fairness.

They're very adamant on the kids being on honest and being very respectful. i.e saying yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am and no ma'am.

The leadership at AJK is great. The level of responsiveness and involvement is amazing. My daughter is in 3rd grade there and so far we have had a much better experience than we anticipated.

Our first experience here was great!! The principle here went completely out of his way to show us why we should go to this school, and provided us with all of the information we asked for. Only being here 2 weeks the school seems to be the best one we looked at in the district.

My step-son has been going to this school for 2 years now. When he was in kindergarten, he had an excellent teacher and bus service. During that first school year, we had an excellent experience. Unfortunately, now that he is in first grade, things have gone far down hill. He is no longer eligible for bus service (even though he meets the criteria) and my husband and I have multiple problems with his teacher. She has been rude to our child and ourselves, and has also been yelling at him for turning in his late homework. We have asked the principle if he can switch classes and after a month, still no word about it. We are very unhappy with this school right now.
