CJHS has been an amazing, amazing experience for me. I have made so many new friends and have improved immensely in many areas including my studies (Judaic and secular), time management skills, and ability to take what I learn and apply it to everyday life. The teachers and staff are some of the friendliest you will find in a school, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to help you succeed. The sports are incredible, the campus itself is gorgeous and top notch, with lots of room for both learning and socializing, and the student life is rich and thriving. In fact, many of the clubs are mainly or fully student run. CJ provides a daily opportunity to expand your knowledge on what it means to be Jewish, and is so accepting of everyone who goes there, no matter what sect of Judaism is observed in your home. Additionally, due to the small size of the school, CJHS almost feels like more of an tightly interwoven community than a student body - you get to know so many people on a personal level, not only those in your grade. There is truly no place I'd rather attend than Chicagoland Jewish High School!

CJHS has been a fabulous experience for my daughter. Her intellectual development was fed and nurtured. Her social consciousness was expanded, and she was given tools to put it to use. The active, professional college counseling was extraordinarily helpful to us. She leaves CJ with a strong Jewish identity and a clear sense of the complexity of Judaism and of the world she lives in.

Chicagoland Jewish Highschool was the worst experience of my life. Teachers were very rude, very misunderstanding, and very helpless. The religion is taught opposite and against the Jewish bible!! The students are all very rude, selfish, and forced Jewish Reform practices. Overall, the enviornment was horrible. Studies were very stressful and taught too fast, although the students outside of classes act as if they dont have brains!! Too many sex stories and ignorant drug information going around, also too much innapropriate content being shared among the school and too much gossip that is not normal. If you have a brain and you are Jewish, do NOT go to Chicagoland Jewish Highschool. They teach everything wrong and you will get influenced the wrong way. In terms of studies you are better off at ICJA or any public school, you will definatly learn more there then you will ever try learning from the horrible experience and education at CJHS. Please, for the sake of yourself of your own child, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Do not go to CJHS.
