This school is abhorrent. They sent me to hospital from stress, and kept me from working when I returned making me fail. Got outed to my parents. They also didnt do anything but tell them when I said I wasnt being treated well at home, and did nothing about my bullying. The staff do not listen, they are horribly ableist at times especially when its physical, but if you just cant work at times they dont care, and I have never. Not once. Felt supported in this school. First year and I already want out. Do not enroll your kid if you love them, or if you want them mentally healthy and safe and alive.

My three children love this school. They are all supported in academia (both AP and IEP). The children are able to manage their intense sports schedules with their homework due to block scheduling. Sports, atmosphere, and the teachers are great.

Both my daughters attended this school and they both had a very positive experience, I highly recommend.

Best school ever! Teachers are amazing and students are extremely welcoming! It's like your home away from home!

Don't know, we never had this issue. I do not feel this was a major issue at our school. My kids were never bullied and their friends weren't either.

Does not apply to our family. I cannot rate on this.

My kids always had the right amount of homework. Never too much and wasn't ever an issue to deal with being in a sport, but they were still challenged.

Both my kids went to this high school. Both had great experiences and were well prepared for college. Both my kids have said they above many of their friends/classmates in college and I thank Grayslake North for this. We never had any regrets. We came from a middle school that divided our kids into three high schools and I am glad we were Grayslake North over the other two. My only negative comment was why add a new weight room to the school when you have one and you don't have a decent theater? Our school's black box is ridiculous and more money should have been spend on a theater rather than another weight room.

I was a student at this school and can honestly say that my time here was the worst four years of my life. I was mistreated by other students as well as being mistreated by teachers. Many teachers saw that I was mistreated by students and chose to do nothing about it. The school has many dangerous students including members of gangs. Drug use is a huge problem at this school as well, although the school tends to ignore that. I honestly never felt safe when I was there. The only reason the school has a higher rating is because testing scores are above average, however this site does not take into consideration many other factors including safety, school/district corruption, and bullying. This school also spends a ridiculous amount of money (at tax payer expenses) on unnecessary new things such as a five million dollar wieght room which is only used on rare occasion. Honestly, this school is a joke. I am embarrassed to have gone there. I am so glad that I left.

I don't know what some of these people are talking about but they probably don't even go to the school. My daughter loves this school and the teachers are very caring. There are many clubs and activities and they encourage the kids to join them. I'm so glad we live in such a great school district!

I love this school. I have 2 students taking honors and AP level classes. Challenging coursework, great athletics department. Involved teachers. Sense of pride among the students. Clean and pleasing aesthetic to the school. Great group of students. My impression of the kids here are that they are respectful and supportive of each other.
