A great school that has strong leadership and was able to adapt quickly to e-learning. The new principal at the day school is a strong leader with a passion for academics particularly in math and science. The environment is very welcoming and the teachers develop special connections with the students.

Great! My kids have been attending HAA for 2 years now. I love the English curriculum and how it ends with Greek courses. A very nice private school that accomplishes everything we wanted in a school. Our top priority is great academics, but also an environment that promotes independence, respect and success! My kids are growing, feel safe and are very happy here.

Kids get homework as young as Kindergarten, but it is not overbearing at all. Very simple. Gets the kids in a good habit of doing homework for future grades.

Amazing school with excellent academics and wonderful teachers. This is a top notch school with a bilingual curriculum and nothing else like this in Chicago. I would never send my child anywhere else. Extremely happy with the education she’s receiving.

As a former educator, I have a high standard of expectation. After researching heavily I found the Academy and without fail having my children attend this school was the best decision I have made. There is a personal commitment from every teacher and administrator in this school to develop well rounded children. I have been so impressed with the level of curriculum and rigorous academia offered and the genuine commitment to being the best you can be. My children have gained an overall confidence both academically and socially that is centered around hard work and being kind which has impressed us tremendously. This school is a hidden gem and we are very blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of it. Tradition, education, values, safety, love, family and more are what you find the moment you walk through the door. This is the best school available to children in this day and age of tumultuous times. I am proud to have our family here at the Hellenic American Academy. Best school EVER!

As I suffered though a traumatic health event, the Hellenic American Academy family opened its arms to my daughter and the entire family and really helped us navigate for over a year and a half with my daughters education, days missed and overall feeling and comfort. I will be forever grateful!!

I can't say enough about HAA. My son not only loves going to school but has learned so much! The feeling of dropping your child and knowing they are safe and loved is indescribable!
I, myself, am a Socrates alumni and I am so thankful that my parents made the best choice to send me here. The values, education, environment and culture that this school taught me, no public school can ever do! Thank you to the Hellenic Academy for providing everything I dreamt of for my son!

My child has attended the Hellenic American Academy for over 6 years and received an education that is top notch. The current administrators have raised the bar on academics at this school. The culture of the school is a family like, caring environment. The principal is knowledgeable, hard working and a visionary. My child loves going to school everyday because of the daily nurturing by a wonderful group of teachers.

My child has attended this school for 4 years now and we are trying to undo the damage this school has done to her education and psyche. She is currently enrolled in a public school and receiving constant help to bring her up to par with the rest of the class!

My children started Kindergarten at the Hellenic American Academy this year and I have been extremely impressed with the academics. They meet and challenge each child at his or her own level, and I have seen an amazing increase in reading, writing and math over the past several months. I am very impressed with the teaching, and to have a 2-hour daily language immersion on top of the regular academics is amazing. Somehow, the teachers make it all fun for the kids and they love it there. There's also a sense of being a part of an extended family...I have no doubt any of the teachers and many of the parents would walk in front of a bus for my kids, which is an amazing feeling for a working mom. Thanks Hellenic American Academy!

I just want to say what a AWESOME school this is. Besides some stereotypes people have heard we are like a family! My children have been there for 5 years and the program is top notch! I live in a great school district and yes it was hard for me to make the decision to keep my kids in a private school...BUT I have to say I'm so glad I did! My children have achieved a great foundation so far and have scored in the top 90% on their ISATs and it speaks for itself...the classrooms are smaller and the kids get all the attention they need,positive attention! I love this school and I wish there could be a high school too someday!!!
