Bonner Springs High School is truly a special place that goes beyond academicsit builds character, leadership, and a strong sense of community. The teachers here genuinely care about their students success, both inside and outside the classroom. They are not only knowledgeable but also supportive and approachable, always willing to give extra help or encouragement when needed.
The school offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to thrivewhether its through academics, athletics, fine arts, or student leadership. Theres something for everyone to get involved in, and the staff does a phenomenal job of making sure each student feels included and valued.
What makes BSHS stand out most is the culture of pride and unity. You can feel the energy at games, events, and assembliesstudents, staff, and the community come together to celebrate each others accomplishments. Its inspiring to be part of a school where teamwork, spirit, and respect are so strong.
Bonner Springs High School doesnt just prepare you for graduationit prepares you for life. Students leave here not only with knowledge but with confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong memories. I couldnt be more proud to recommend this school!

I am an alum, and teacher at Bonner Springs High School. I have seen how the school has transformed in the last 3 years and I am very proud. I would send my own children to Bonner Springs High School above surrounding schools. BSHS is a college prep/career ready school. Bonner Springs offers 17 CTE pathways, many leading to certification in the new B-TEC building. Bonner Springs also offers 51 dual credit hours for college. They are truly preparing students for post-high school success. Students graduate from Bonner Springs High School with many college credits or certifications in a specific career field already under their belt.
Bonner Springs is a progressive learning school; the teachers are young and bringing new innovative methods from the fast changing world into the classroom. They have created such a great culture at Bonner. BSHS is a trauma informed school, bringing healing to students with trauma. This prepares them to be successful adults. Bonner Springs truly has something for each student with the number of activities, clubs, and sports that they offer.
The schools are state of the art, with recent renovations/new construction throughout the district. The students have labs, and spaces to learn in progressive ways.
Bonner Springs has put students first since the new administration change in 2016. They offer ACT prep courses during the school day, among numerous other preparation Seminars. The ACT composite score, and state test scores have risen significantly above state averages in the past 4 years. I am very proud to be a Brave!

I have had two children graduate from BSHS. Both earned scholarships to college and entered college with an entire year of college completed by taking college credits in high school. The dual credit program saved us thousands of dollars. The community is so invested in this school district, which is obvious over &60,000 in Local scholarships offered to BSHS graduates!

BSHS has so many offerings to prepare our students for their next level. We have a wide variety of CTE courses, as well as college prep classes. I am proud to be a part of BSHS, and the Bonner Springs community.

Bonner Springs High School is a wonderful school with great teachers. The size of the school allows students to have multiple opportunities to try sports, clubs, and activities.
