This school has literally saved my son from dropping out of school. He was treated awful by peers in his previous school. Hope Street gave him the opportunity to come in and he has excelled. They have the best teachers who genuinely care for the kids. I can't thank them all enough for all they do!

I have had children that attended this school in the past. There were some deficiencies in credits, some learning disabilities and the inability to thrive in a typical classroom setting in the nearby public school. They were made to feel like they would never make it to see graduation. After enrolling them in this school, I witnessed a complete turn around in that hope, and attitude towards going to school. The leadership and compassion of the staff at this school is to be commended. The kids actually looked forward to attending school for the first time in awhile. The turnaround was almost immediate. I cannot even begin to explain how this school made a difference in my life and the life of my children and many others whom were just about given up on because they were not thriving in the schools in this city. They have been able to touch the lives of so many and I am so very grateful for that.

I have never met a more compassionate team of teachers that know how to work around each student's unique situation than I have at this school. They set each child up for success and are rewarded for some of those achievements.

These skills are taught to the students and is expected throughout their tenure at this school.

Where the typical school fails in this category, this school excels! Most of these students were given up on by the other schools in the community for whatever reason. This school gives them a fresh start and gives the students the opportunity to succeed.

The other public schools in this community have difficulty controlling the students bullying, this school excels beyond expectations.

I am a graduate of Hope Street Academy. Before I attended Hope Street I was a failing student who wasn't going on a path to graduate. I had given up on my education until I enrolled at Hope Street. The staff here is so amazing and helpful without them i wouldn't have been a part of the 2018 class of graduates.
Hope Street gave me Hope.

I was such a scared and vulnerable kid with no real family support or encouragement. You all treated us as human beings with respect and didn't make us (me) feel like a failure for making a mistake. The respect and love I received from Hope Street also helped me develop the character I have today. I can only hope to be as selfless as some of those teachers and giving their all to students who are still trying to find where they want and need to be in life.
Some of the key perks to Hope Street are:
1) individual learning plans,
2) leadership with extensive experience in the schools environment,
3) dedicated teachers,
4) a variety of learning styles approaches to ensure all students needs are met, and
5) investment of time and to each student.
You definitely get back with you put in and with that I highly encourage all other students to take advantage of the opportunity Hope Street provides.
Some days I look back and am amazed at everything that has happened over the years. I ultimately went on to get a Bachelors degree and have my Masters in Business Leadership --- and more recently completed a 2nd Masters degree.
I am forever grateful for Dale, Brenda, Darlene, Vern, Margie, and a few others that truly shaped the woman I became. Please never stop doing what you do and pushing the kids to their potential - Brenda too - because there are the ones, like me, who need it and will eventually find their way.

This school is a good school for kids who need smaller classes but do not have extreme special needs. I went there for 8th grade and it was great for me then unfortanly they had to get rid of the 8th grade program. The high school was not for me as I have more special needs then what they could help me with. They also have an elementary but I think it is called Behaviorla Intervention Unit and as far as I know it is for special needs elementary kids who have behavioral, emontional and social problems.
