This school is terrible. My niece has been attacked by other students multiple times throughout the school year and administrators have done nothing to prevent it. Despite video evidence. The staff favors certain children and the punishment for bullying is non existent. But they retaliate against the students that report the bullying. The education is just as bad. A lot of teachers left after the district decided to close the middle school section next school year. Ive heard nothing but awful things from numerous parents in the community.

Leavenworth School District- Looking for help -
Trying to help my soon to be son-in- law with issues we are having at Warren middle school with no luck. We having been trying to speak with superintendent since November 3 with no luck. Just last week they had to do an all page on his child they had no idea where the child was. I have personally called the office and his secretary gives me the run around and now she says we can only talk to HR. This is serious issues we are having. Next step school board. Even tried to set up meeting Friday with no luck with superintendent

Honestly if you want your child to tough up or they have touble making friends its a good place but if you want them to always focus on school this school is not for them but i recommend saint paul for academics same with sports and we have a great band teacher though she seems mean she is very funny and is always chill unless your being rude then she will get on you but its is a very good school.

My son has his ups and downs. Now I have to make a decision to send him to the preppy bullying Lansing HS or the gang bullying Leavenworth HS.

My son constantly tells me about the bullying and disrespect for adults in this school. Sounds like the admins are scared of discipline.

Pretty much anything goes. You almost have to stab someone to get suspended, and yet the suspension rate is super high. That should tell you something.

Can't blame the teachers for administration who doesn't back up discipline or parents who constantly defend their child's bad behavior.

Students constantly swear, fight, and disrespect teachers. The teachers cannot control the students. Students are allowed to have cell phones all day long. There have been sexual assaults reported, kids are carrying around scissors and razor blades, and they had a bed bug infestation. Oh, and these are just the things I personally know about.

Administration doesn't support faculty. It's hard to work effectively when your boss doesn't back you up.

My school is Richard W. Warren Middle School. I have no children attending the school, but know a young boy who is in the school band. I attended two concerts the band had last year and they were great!. Mrs. George is wonderful with her students, and it is very evident by the achievements of the musicians.
