They don’t not let you engage cause when you do and they get caught messing them they want
To label your kid and then the bulling and drugs and weapons going thru this school is crazy so it is not safe going their and the staff try to bully as well due to the fact parents are not aware of
Their rights and then the school board lies thru their teeth and they take and refuse your child to go to the rest room and they can not control the school so look to a different school than bullitt central the education system needs complete over haul starting with the high up
To the bottom

My son goes to this school and its a great large school with lots of opportunity's does not give much homework, although there grading system is jacked up. His geometry class is about the only class that uses a weighted system and its awful. Lots of fights happen annually. There has been 7 overdoses within the school and/or on property and it mainly students. Lunch and staff treat him well and are friendly.

As a junior at Bullitt Central i must say the school does a poor job, at best, for providing children what they need. The school has a funding program (which is distributed among the sports teams, and the small marginal percentage that remains goes to the teachers. The school cares about only a few things, which are getting the child out the doors, and making sure we have high scores in the ACT (and the standard of "high score" they have would be dubbed low by societal views). The result of this is less student to teacher connection. The teachers themselves (once you know them as a human) can be turned into great instructors. I have taken it upon myself to get to know each teacher i have on a personal (yet professional) level that allows me to enjoy spending time in there class. With that said, I am also obligated to point out that some teachers are more worried about getting the kid out the door of the classroom, than getting them the knowledge themselves. As for the staff, i feel at ease with everyone except the highest members, such as the VP, AP, and a few other figures who seem to take on an authoritarian role and make some students fear going to them for anything they need.
