The Friends School was life changing for our son and family. He attended pre-K there and would have continued to go if we hadn't moved out of state. Our son has ADHD and may possibly be on the spectrum. He has issues dealing with his emotions and had severe behavioral issues. After just one school year, the change in him is amazing to see. He used to be the one who would hit other kids. Now he is the one showing restraint when other kids hit him. He is getting better at sharing and calming himself down. This school is worth every penny and was the best investment we could have made.

Beyond pre-K, this is 100% a special needs school. The majority of staff time is spent dealing with special needs kids, which is great for them but lousy for the kids that are looking for a little extra assistance. The 'integrated learning' pitch is a farce. Our child left Friends school 1.5 years BEHIND grade in reading. After 2 years in public school he's now AP. I would only recommend this school to parents of special needs children.

Drama. The inter-relationship drama of the administration is borderline sick. The Director was MIA 90% of the time.

Preschool, maybe. Kindergarten and beyond was horribly ineffective for us.

Excellent school. We highly recommend it. Our daughter was in the 2 year old class and the teachers are excellent. I would recommend Friends School to anyone.

My daughter has attended Friend's school for the past 3 years. I was attracted to Friend's because of the co-op and integrated learning for children of all abilities. My daughter did not have any special learning needs and has thrived in classes at Friend's School. The teachers are caring and it has a great welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Friend's School.
