I understand that this is the only high school on the Fort Knox base but this place is not the best. From kids getting bullied/ threats and jumped they half of the time don't even care which is scary. Not to mention the principal and assistant principal being terrible at communication and actually dealing with things in the school. I'm not surprised this school had a 2.8 and lower as a Google rating. Either find a off base school or home school your kid but this place is scary and disrespectful yet adults don't listen to complaints.

It is no surprise the other people writing reviews here cannot spell. This school is normal. My kid is having a normal time here, same as the other schools he’s attended. Parents should parent. Sigh.

My experience is limited at this school since we just PCS’d here. However, I’m not impressed by one bit the teachers and staff don't communicate everything is extremely unorganized. I don't believe the teachers teach anything, but quickly tell you what your child is or not doing and often get confused about which child they are referring to.

I expected better from a school on post-school. DODEA is another Federal Government organization that has employees who get by doing the bare minimum.

They give you a worksheet in class if they feel like teaching that day otherwise a movie it is. The spanish teacher sits at his desk and all students work on the internet even though he is spanish.

The children build their own characters. The teachers are tge laziest teachers i have ever seen. Its a fight for the parents to get any more answer out of them ,then its not my job.

Over rated, treat you as a college student with the work load of 7 college classes. Teachers do not communicate with each other. They give you no breaks for ajusting to a new school. Basically it's like taking 7 online collge classes. The band is small, very little is done outside the school. Your on your own if you want to excel in band. They do have good Counclers- willing to put there neck out on the line for the students.

This high school is located on Fort Knox. It is a DoDEA school. This is my son's first year attending a post school and is a freshman. We do not have any other experiences with an on post schools but ours has been a positive one.The JROTC program is one of the best and offers extra circular program. My son is able to take Honors classes as a new student. I have had positive experiences with the teachers and am experiencing a nice community environment. They do offer the major sports and clubs that a traditional school offers with smaller groups. My son is much happier with this school then his last charter school. He says the students are much more respectful.
You must live on base to attend this school.

  • What did you like? I enjoy that my son can have experiences with other military families that understand our life style. I have enjoyed the parents being nice and welcoming. Staff is very understanding of our military needs.
  • What did you dislike? Small set back : seems they are limited to financial resources in some extra circular activities. For example they don't seem to have the best sporting venues compared to public schools.
