We love the small class sizes and community traditions. Its everything you could want in a school. Neighborhood school in the heart of the city, great teachers and a caring administration!

We moved to Anchorage for this amazing school. After an extremely disappointing year at an area private school, we have been thrilled with our children's success at Anchorage. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. Classes are small and intervention is readily given to kids who need extra help. Our experience with the faculty and administration has been what can we do to help your children succeed. It is also amazing to see that my children get assistance during the school day rather than trying to play catch up after school with private tutoring, My kids actually get to be kids after school!

Anchorage School is a wonderful independent school in one of the best communities in Louisville! The teachers are nurturing and structured and adjust to the needs of the child whether they are gifted and need to be challenged, or have disabilities and need extra special care. The class sizes are small, test scores continuously rank highest in the state and the teachers allow for as much or little parental involvement as you would like. A GREAT choice for families! I promise you won't be disappointed.

We moved to Anchorage for the school and great community. Few private schools, and zero public schools, offer such small classrooms that create an optimal learning environment. Anchorage Public School offers the learning advantages of a private school, and the resources of a public school. We would highly recommend Anchorage School to others.

After doing extensive research on many public and private schools in the Louisville, KY area, we decided to move to Anchorage, KY to take advantage of the wonderful independent public school in the neighborhood. The school lives up to it's excellent reputation with dedicated teachers, phenomenal parental involvement, and good leadership. It provides appropriate educational support for both gifted as well as special needs students. We love the community and school that Anchorage provides!
