Do not send your kids here!!!! Former student (class of 2025) , after going here I must warn of this school. This school has several serious issues. First off they do not care about safety at all. I was approached by a kid who was obsessed with firearms and invited me to shoot up the school with him. I politely declined and told the p.e. teacher, and was pulled by the asst. Principal during lunch and questioned. He assured me he would handle it. I told my mom that night then a few hours later she told me that the asst. Principal told her it was all a "misunderstanding" , and the kid in question was at school the next day like nothing happened. They also don't take fire/storm safety either. There were multiple times I took naps and the fire alarm sounded, and was too quiet to wake me up. Had it not been for my friends I would never known, and the teachers didn't try wake me up at all. I'm an expert in fire alarms/code, and they're alarms are way too quiet to be effective at all. There was also a tornado warning where they did nothing. I was watching the storm on radar that day, saw the rotation and then everyone's phones and the siren outside went off. The teacher just told us to wait for the principal to say what to do. By the time he told us to take shelter the funnel was in oldham county. Safety issues aside, they are also very left leaning, and obsessed with dei. I'm a straight white male, and felt excluded and down right hated there, all because I was not black or lgbtq. I was targeted by staff for simple things like taking a nap after I completed my classwork or wearing my air pods in the halls, but if a person of color or LGBT broke any rules, including fighting would not be held accountable ever. So if you like a place that is very liberal and hates safety, this is the place for you. Otherwise move on.

This school is all drama and bunch of grown girls who starts drama which never stops at the school, Bad principal who doesn’t help with people and act like it’s all good in the school not recommended for everyone. The teachers are the only good people in that school. Avoid all drama in school my family struggles to contact the school about it. Don’t go there

This school is a great example of how Alternative Education can be more "Innovative" than punitive. The staff is always trying something new to improve student morale and ownership.
