While I was in this school Ive noticed that theyve often babied or favored the bad kids who were always on suspension, giving them candy or talking to them with respect and then turn to the honor roll students and talk to them with just disrespect and like theyre stupid. Some of the teacher there actually love their job while most of the others clearly dont. One teacher I had constantly made racist remarks to me and others, multiple teachers made students uncomfortable, and vice principals often yelling or cussing out kids. Just not a good school.

I wish I could vote this a ZERO but I can't. I was in 7th grade last year at stuart middle and the counselor and the assistant principal were so unprofessional. I also got bullied too as well.

We relocated to Louisville during the last seven weeks of the school year 2021/22. They told me that based on my address that Stuart was my son's reside school. We live in a 40211 zip code, this school is located more than 13 miles away from my house and I don't drive. We had to take a cab there and back and the total was like 80 bucks. He would have been bussed there and back but not from his first day, that is beside the point. It's just too far away if I needed to get to him in an emergency or vice versa. Additionally, the first day that I enrolled him I was unnerved by the atmosphere. It felt like a detention center for kids. There were kids lurking around long after the start of the school day, just hanging around the halls playing, cursing and goofing around. No adult supervision there to make them go to class or anything. Just total anarchy. There were kids in the main office who seemed to have been just sitting there for no reason and no administrator attending to them and clearly it was instruction time. As I was filling out the paperwork to enroll my son, reluctantly I might add, I kept thinking as soon as I can get him out of here I am! My son suffers from severe social anxiety due to the pandemic. I knew leaving him here was going to be a challenge. When he came home on the school bus, he was in tears and was totally traumatized. He has an IEP and they placed him in the wrong class. They put him in a class with kids with disabilities. My son does not have any disabilities, he is just very shy. I called the following morning and withdrew him. I had to homeschool him because he couldn't transfer anywhere else because that's his zone school and the school year was already ongoing. I had a bad premonition about a school once before and I didn't listen to my instincts and I was sorry later because my son suffered as a result. I didn't make that mistake this time. If you ever walk into a school and get a bad feeling in your gut, listen to your instincts, it's telling you something.

Would rate 0 if i could. The staff is disrespectful and unkind as well as my daughters grades and test scores dropped when she got there. The bullying problem had made me transfer her out and into an online school called K12, i highly recommend you do the same.

The teachers can't be effective when the classroom is constantly disrupted by the students and some of the teachers are not honest when they talk to parents.

I consider this school a "thug" school. The students are totally disrespectful - cussing teachers, disrupting the classroom all the time and fighting. Three teachers were fired my daughter's first year there and one, great seasoned teacher left because she could not deal with it. The counselor was good but could only do so much. I have transferred my child out.

A reasonable number of the students do not value education. They are disrespectful to the teachers and their fellow students. Most of the students come to Stuart with significant behavior problems which makes it impossible for the good students to fully benefit/experience a rewarding learning experience. I have never seen such disrespect and lack of meaningful consequences in any environment.

This school is the worst school i've seen they need to restaff the school. Only a small handful of teachers care. And if you defend yourself your the one to get in trouble.

I would not advice you to go to this school i am a student at Stuart middle school. Mostly all the kids there take drugs and they always fight also the kids talk back to the staff they tell them curse words and all the teachers do is just send them into another room just for 10 minutes than they return like nothing happened another thing the students are racist if you are any other race than black or white they Will make fun of you race. Most of the teachers don't care what you do they don't care if you get in to a fight they only do stuff in the last second to do something .

I would DIFFENTLY FIRE the PRINCIPAL of this school. She is very rude, unprofessional, and uncaring of her student s futures. This school needs a full overhaul of Administration and Staff. From the Lunchroom Staff to the Administration. Clear the school and start over!!!! Poor test scores, reflects lack of leadership, and dedication of the staff. These Adults are failing their students by staying. I am a Parent of a student that has to go there, he never hated school until he had to enter this school. (My child has good grades only because his parents pick up all the slack from his teachers) Save your child, FIGHT TO KEEP HIM OR HER OUT OF THIS SCHOOL! These students Deserve a better school.
