The classes are good and interesting. The teachers and administration are nice as long as you are doing what you are supposed to do. If you show a craving to learn and apply it then you will go far at the school. The harder classes at the school, such as AP classes, tend to have nicer teachers.

Lets just say if you don't have the money or your kids don't have friends who have money YOU WILL NOT SUCCED at this school. The have a lot of minority kids at this school but they are NEVER included in much but sports and that's because they help bring the school ratings for sports. When you check the Instagram pages and Facebook pages 95% of the time all you see is one color. Airline is good academic wise to a certain degree. They are not a lot of clubs like schools like Captain Shrev, Byrd or even Benton. I cant recall a time where we had a minority won homecoming court, and so much more. Now don't get me wrong my kids and kids I know enjoy this school 40%of the time but they have so many let downs time after time because they don't feel they get the exposure they deserve. Homecoming week is truly not targeted to everyone I mean who would pay $5 to dress in American gear? If you want our kids to give it all on the field then put them out there all year as well. I feel the problem wont change until you start at the top I mean principals telling students they look like Ronald McDonald because of hair dye is a stretch but let kids dress like goth's is okay. There is so much more I could say but I think you get it.

Airline is definitely not a school I would recommend. Both of my boys attended with a total of eight years spent at Airline. The first four were not great, but a new principal made it (I thought) worth hanging in for the second child. Bullying starts at the top with the principal. He does not care about the student unless their parents or them can help him personally. It is the most political place I have ever seen. I actually had the principal lie to me about a situation. Luckily there are some teachers there that actually care about the students. There were over 800 students-so no one on one help for anyone. Sports there are even more political. If your parent is not a teacher or personal friends with one of the teachers, you can forget it. I would recommend Benton High School or Providence if you are looking for a good education with teachers that will help your child succeed.

Great school I like the school atmosphere I can say as a new student it was hard for me to find my place here. Mostly because airline when it is your first time here it will come of as very unwelcoming because everyone talks to their group of friends and that's it your classes are the best way to make friends. It very strict your phone can not be used at all not even during lunch or breakfast. The principal he is a OK guy not my favorite but he is ok.the assistant principals are so caring and encouraging and I love that to be greeted with a smile means a lot. The teachers are the best in the state you will love them not all but some these teachers can be really old fashion at times oh and it is cold in a lot of the classrooms always bring a jacket because they don't do a democracy it is a dictatorship when it comes to air

I graduated from airline. The truth is that its not a sports school or an academic school at all. It is a school full of the good ole boy system, racist, and if you are not from money you dont count. Ive personally witnessed teachers and staff use racial language. And yes they have a new principal. It happens about every two years due to the poor management of the school. If you move to the Bossier parish area the. You want your kids in the haughton or parkway district. Thats just being honest.

This school is amazing. Everybody works together. The teachers focus on each student and give them the attention they need. The rumors that they let kids bring guns to school and that it is all about sports are wrong. They have a wonderful principle that cares about all school activities. The recognize all academic and athletic achievements. They have opportunities to get more involved in school. They have Drama, Beta, Mu Alpha Theta, For the Third, FCA, Outdoor club, Yearbook, Newspaper, and many more. I am the person I am today because of Airline High School.
