Through the years, Grace has seemed to have adopted a lot of public school policies, which have some concerns of their own, being a private christian school. The education seems to be pretty solid and the staff generally have always seemed to be helpful.

Academics are way behind the public schools by as much as 3 grade levels. The school begins declining in most all areas by junior high and high school here is not a good choice!

I had two children who attended Grace Christian School from Prek to 12th grade. We loved the Christian environment and small class size. Academically, they were far ahead of their college peers when they reached a major university where they both attend. The school offers 36 hours of dual enrollment credit, taught by adjunct professors on the Grace campus. There have also been several National Merit Finalists that came from Grace Christian. Wonderful school!

I have four graduate for GCS. 1 has a Masters in Architecture, 1 3rd year Medical School, 1 finishing a masters in Medical Science, and the last is a 2nd year in Mechanical Engineering. My wife nor I have any expertise in the areas that our children have followed. GCS does not fit all, but as a parent you follow the process with your child and mentor independent study and excellence they are able to move from average to above average or even great. With four children I have followed their peers and common of those that have succeeded because they have adopted independence, high standards and values not based on situations...all traits fostered by the school.

Sometimes you will find that your child is not an angle.

As a small school it will not be for everyone. My wife and I have faced this challenge and choose to supplement to meet the differing needs of two of our children and keep them at GCS.

The school effective in evaluating students and planning forward for future staffing needs and have been able to pull in Highly skilled individuals to teach a single class at a higher level due to the individuals credentials, training and experience.

At times you may need to get with the grade level of your student to have the teachers work together not to assign large volumes of home work on the same night.

Excellent school with outstanding principal and knowledgeable teachers.

As a parent, I have very dissatisfied with Grace Christian School. The Christian environment is good but this school lacks on academics and does little to prepare children for the 'real world.' I have paid a lot of money to send my child to this school and it is amazing the academic things that he does not know. I really question the quality of teachers and their ability to relate to the students. My son's teacher has missed so much school and has been taught by the aid for a majority of the school year. That does not seem right. If you want a school that is going to motivate and EDUCATE your child, this is not the school for you! My son will be attending a public school next year that focus more of education and less on art work and having fun.
