I attended Doyline, my husband attended Doyline, and now my two kids attend Doyline. Doyline has great teachers! The principal and PTO officials need to be changed. But Doyline has issues just like other schools have issues but ours are smaller issues. Our community is small but for the most part are very nice and helpful people! I would much rather have my children in Doyline school than any other school in Webster Parish!!

I have lived in Doyline since 1996. I learned very quickly that if you are not part of the click, you don't belong. The elementary and high school have now joined together. They use to be separate. The elementary school was excellent with wonderful teachers and the students were friendly and the school was wonderful. After my children started going to high school they went from being a and b honor roll students to d's and f's. How does that happen? The principal does not answer phone calls, He is never in his office when I go up there to see him. The assistant principal has taken a serious dislike to my child and treats her horribly all the time. If you don't play baseball or basket ball you don't fit in. I will say that your children will definitely know how to tuck their shirt in and wear a belt. They will know that only those with money can wear street clothes because they have to pay $2 to wear these clothes. The money is suppose to go to st. judes so I wont complain. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money at Doyline high. This town is full of drugs. If you have good kids, move here they will be corrupted. My child cannot read or spell. tried to get help, no help for him.

I moved to Doyline from the very live and social city of Las Vegas. Its been a little while since I finally DROPPED OUT of this HORRIBLE school. This is the lowest of low to me. I actually attended this school for almost three years. And after a couple years of relearning what i learned in 7th and 8th, I finally decided that I just could not bear any more of it. I begged my mother to let me get away from this school that was basically just wasting my life away.I was sooo bored that I lost interest every class and had trouble just waking up to go to school for my fear of intoxicating boredom and surrounding myself with very uneducated people. This school did nothing to prepare me for the life I wanted!! If you don't have interest in southern activities or have very southern views then this is no the place for you. You will not fit. And God forbid you be different. They will tear you down!! This is just an unfunded , uneducated, over bearing, old timey mess. Not mention far to small and outdated.

doyline isd teh awsomist skool in teh lousiana state I learnted soo moch form them i wars numbr one in my classs my inglish teachr was soooo smard that she coold spelll vegstable und she teachd me how i wars razed by my uncledad und his wife my gramma in doyine form win i wasd a boobie i mad many frend und it was kool cause they wered my cosins and othred famly to doyine has grate morals cume und joine our famly!!!!!! i has a daughtre u coold date she just ternd 2 brang her bak befor midnite why r theer stars on thisd????

I was a student here. I guess I am just not the small-town type, because when I graduated I joined the Air Force to get the heck out of that town. I would have joined the French Foreign Legion if I had to. I was soooo happy to finally meet people who were curious about the world and life. I would rather live in a Turkish village in the mountains than return to this town.
