The only reason why I would give this school a somewhat good review is because there are a couple of good teachers who really do know how to teach and care about the students. Other teachers give of the vibe that they hate their job and just teach by reading straight from the textbook. Another negative aspect is that the highschool is so strict that it felt like I was in a correctional facility. At "dances" the students were not even allowed to dance. A christian school is suppose to teach you how to handle things correctly in the real world but instead all the school did was put up harsh barriers and shield students from all things that were considered secular. The chapel services we were made to go to every week were most of the time were the same constant yellings from one of the pastors... so if that isnt what your looking for I would look for some place else. But to end this on a good note, some of the teachers, once again, were some of my favorite people I met and were amazing at what they do. They were the ones who helped the students grow not the adminstration or the pastors.

This is a very accepting, flexible, and accommodating school, with a wonderful headmaster and teachers. My Learning Disabled son is enjoying school, and has been allowed to take a leadership role in the Marching Band, which is wonderful for his self esteem!

Probably one of the finest schools in Baton Rouge. The school has an excellent principal , and it is reflected in the entire school...from the teachers, students, atmosphere.

Our son was new to CLA middle school this year. Classmates welcomed him & he made many new friends. We love the diversity of the student body & smaller class sizes. Also, he has one of the lesser known learning disorders & the principal & teachers were phenominal in working with us to make sure he has the supports needed & that he remains encouraged. Communication is great & we are thrilled to see his confidence increase. CLA has received numerous honors from ACT, & their national test score averages are well above grade level. CLA has well equipped classrooms & facilities; a great hot lunch program that our son actually loves & offers something for every student: arts, music, band, athletics, missions trips, etc. It is a smaller school with a sense of community, strong emphasis on biblical teachings and daily christian living that is important to our family.

I absolutely love Christian Life! The teachers, principals, and administrators are wonderful! My children have excelled in so many ways since they have been attending Christian Life that I am very grateful as a parent. One of my sons has ADD/ADHD and his teacher has been very helpful and cooperative with his behavioural and medication issues. I can not say enough about this school.

I currently have 2 children attend this school. ...I plan to enroll my third child as soon as she's old enough to go. I've always been impressed w/the caring teaching staff and the results (great standardized test scores, excellent grades, motivation to learn, good citizenship, caring children) they inspire. This is in addition to the wonderful Christian core values taught and shared by all who are retained there. Thank you CLA.

I am a parent of 3 boys and I am also a teacher at CLA. We love our school! The teachers are compassionate, caring and God loving people. The students are taught in a happy caring atmosphere. Christian Life provides an education that is top notched along with core values. We are finishing our ninth year as Crusaders. We are Lifers!

CLA offers a high standard of education while teachers give one on one attention to their students. I can't imagine my children being any where else in Baton Rouge.

CLA does an excellent job of instilling a love of Jesus as well as a love of learning. My children love CLA, and I am very glad we chose to attend.

I just got back from the CLA Middle School Retreat where 24 kids asked Jesus to be the Lord of their lives. That's what it's all about! Changing lives to change the world!

CLA provides a quality education within a nurturing environment for the children who attend. CLA is passionate about the Lord and the surrounding communities it serves. This passion is passed on to the students and instills the much needed values and morals that are necessary to live a successful and meaningful life, which is hard to find in todays society. My child loves CLA and I am convienced that my husband and I made the right choice for our sons future. CLA is changing the world, one child at a time!
