I like this school really much because it has amazing extra-cirriculars and as a freshman i am enjoying this school, the only this i advise is if you were a student who came from a public school and didn't take honors, enriched or gateway, you might wanna study as it will be extremely challenging to adapt and if say you had straight A's but took regular courses at a public school, you might be surprised at the grades for you first semester of the year (p.s this is my situation)

My daughter is a senior and has blossomed since beginning CMHS four years ago. She is totally prepared to enter college and be successful!!

Magnet High is the flagship high school in Caddo Parish, and offers the best opportunity for students to prepared for and be successful in college anywhere. The students, teachers, and staff are focused on maintaining a safe and supportive environment for everyone. The courses offer rigor and variety, and my son does work hard to maintain good grades, It's more than worth the time and effort, and he loves it there.
