I heard so many great things about this school and I absolutely regret sending my child here. The arts department is great but the core classes work these kids too hard. They get piled on with endless homework and then the tests are often not even listed in the agendas. There is poor communication between the teachers and parents. The admin does not address problems properly. IEPs are ignored. Where is this glorious school which I heard so much about?

My experience with this school, being an educator myself I understand the struggles that face teachers. But this institution does not even trying to assist students that are struggling For a student to come there gifted and from a school where they were thriving to a place where the focus is not on academics. And struggle and got NO assistants is just unexceptionable You can be failing and still participate in extra curricular activity is amazing to me. Then they have these para professionals posing as teachers. Who are condescending. They break the spirit of theses children because they dont fit in to their status quo! I know everyone experiences are different this was my familys like one parent said worst decision ever!! So good luck!

I truly regret sending my kids to this school. They overwork the kids and do nothing to make sure the ones that are slow to catch up are learning. They really dont care about helping struggling students. I really feel like the staff dont care for certain kids and prefer them not to attend their school. Dont send you kid to this school if they struggle academically. Overall, not a bad school just if your kid doesnt fit, they dont want them there.

BRCVPA is the best school my child had attended. Although he only attended his last grade (in the elementary) in this school, I had observed a big improvement in his learning. I used to tutor him in his homeworks but he became independent and had shown a big improvement in all his subjects. He enjoyed his learning because the people around him (The principal, Teachers, employees and students) are friendly, helpful and approachable. Teachers are Excellent in teaching!

My family loves this school! The teachers and administrators are always available for questions and extra help when needed. Everyone truly cares for the students, not just their academic wellbeing, but cares for each child as an individual. The staff knows each child by name, even if they havent taught that child before, which always amazes me! Bringing the arts and the academics together makes for a fun and exciting environment to learn. We couldnt be happier at this school!

Terrible experience!! I regret sending my daughter to this school. If your child does not get the assignments then there is no additional help. Teachers dont care and the principal is no better.

The administration doesnt care about students and only take their teachers side even when they are wrong. They are not able to help kids with learning differences and just complain about them to the parents.

They send home homework most of the time and it always has something to do with what they have learned. The teachers also give parents a guide to the homework to help students at home. If you dont do your home work there are consequences.

The teachers are stern but super nice. As a student when I get in trouble I would never do what I did again because of their sternness and consequences.

They have built my passion for the performing arts from the ground up. Before I had all of their help when I auditioned for plays I would end up in the ensemble but now in plays Im usually the lead. They helped me understand that all the nos in life are the stepping stones to the yess

I used to go to this school it was amazing. I learned a lot from it, and I really miss it. ;( it is the best school in the country if not the world in my opinion.

As a former 5th grade student from B.R.C.V.P.A my first year was amazing. The staff, teachers, faculty, and students made me feel like family. The principle was very nice and caring there was no way to let her down. At this school there were things like Productions, plays, recitals, concerts, shows, club such as art, drama, P.E., Instrumental, music, and dance. They also had fitness teams girls on the run and all kinds of stuff like that. I could go on about this school but to end this review B.R.C.V.P.A is and always will be my elementary home!! :) GO CLASS OF 5TH GRADE 2016

BRCVPA is a school that has so much potential, but unfortunately a stagnant administration who live in past educational practices that just aren't working. It is causing high teacher turnover and parents who are deciding to leave. The principal does not care about the kids and would love if parents weren't involved in his business. This is a testing school disguised as an art school. They advertise happy learners, but all I see are miserable kids.

My son attended Kindergarten here last year and will attend 1st grade next year. My daughter will be entering the pre-K program there next year. It is an excellent school. I am a substitute teacher and the teachers that I have subbed for here are excellent!
