My niece got cracked in the face with a Stanley cup and the school did absolutely NOTHING about it. Do not send your child here. The school does NOTHING to protect these kids.

I went to this middle school years ago and it's absolutely awful. Coming from somebody who was in the "Gifted and Talented Education" program (GATE), that program is not taken seriously and the curriculum is no different than the standard curriculum for non-GATE classrooms. I did not learn any different from other kids in other classes, but it did give many teachers an excuse to call us out more when we acted like normal middle schoolers. The guidance/adjustment counselors here are unprofessional and blatantly disrespectful. They're willing to spend time with kids who want to get out of class, but when a student is genuinely having issues and need help, suddenly they don't care about that student. There are a few really good teachers who just want their students to do well, especially in 8th grade, however the counselors just ruin everything the teachers want to achieve. Many students in my year did bad because they could not get the support from their counselors and when I reported how I was being physically bullied, I was told that the girls who were bullying me "were nice and would not do that to anyone". They spent so much money to build the school but can't afford actual counselors who will help the students and the programs they run aren't implemented and people shouldn't be seeing that they're supposed to run these programs, because they don't.

Please. If you’re anyone like me, dont go to this school. I went to this school for half of 6th grade and got pulled out because the bullying was too bad. I had undiagnosed autism and an already diagnosed anxiety disorder, along with slight selective mutism (Ive had it since I was a toddler, but it has gone away over the years). The kids here are the worst. Especially the bus. I dreaded coming to school every single day. Im going into highschool now, and this school had made me even more scared to go to any school at all. The staff did nothing, they didn’t even BELIEVE me when I said I was being bullied. This school should honestly be shut down, the worst school in all of Fall River most likely. Please if you’re planning on sending your kids to this school, and they tell you that theyre struggling, believe them, especially if they’re neurodivergent or have mental issues like me. Thank you so much for reading.

Kuss is awesome. I love it here and my teachers are really cool. My VP is tough but super cool. My experience here has been good and I will miss it. There's always things to do after school and we learn about fun stuff. Even though the day is long, it always has something good to offer. Kuss is by far the best school I've ever been to.

I am in the eighth grade at Kuss Middle School. This school is great, but I cannot stand it. For example, I was literally stabbed at this school, and nothing happened to the kid who stabbed me. He's even in almost all of my classes! I just can't stand this school anymore. I can't wait to get out of this place.

I am a 6G gifted student at Kuss, and find all the teachers helpful and supportive. They listen to your questions and answer them as best they can, although they can sometimes be strict. The school is large and beautiful, but just the right size for the many kids attending. The extended day classes are excellent, and harness creative and fun energies outside of the normal school day. The Kuss Drama Program is amazing and recently won a gold medal for their contest act 'Jane Eyre Life At Lowood', which will also be performed at Kuss in June, along with 'East of the Sun West of the Moon'. Overall, Kuss is a good school!!!
