My kids getting bullied here continuously. The same kids keep putting their hands on my children punching and hitting them. They tell their teachers and they handle the situation but never call me to tell me my child was assaulted. Then when I reach out they say they are aware of the situation. Teachers at not supportive and dont care about childrens safety. When my kid went in a field trip they were put in a group with the kids that were bullying them. School safety .00000 out of 1000. Please do better

This school has good staff. But the children that attend here are not being raised. America has a problem with bullying and parents not teaching their children how to behave. Parents need to stop allowing children to be consumed by tablets and enforce more reading and more social skills. There are so many videos that teach children about bullying and how to handle themselves when upset. Its sad for the teachers because they have to be parents and teachers and they do not get paid to RAISE CHILDREN! Parents in the are..do better at teaching your children healthy social skills and healthy mood regulation. No video games, get outdoors and learn how to get along with others and use your words to communicate how you feel. Hitting, pushing and being a bully is poor communication skills. LISTEN AND TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN!

If you have a child with ADD or ADHD please choose another school!!!! My son has ADHA and attended this school and they constantly wrote him up for the most random things. He was wrote up for tossing his apple in the trash, a apple I paid for! They allowed him to use the bathroom alone (6 yrs old) during recess and wrote him up for wandering the school, this happened twice. Also was wrote up for breaking a crayon, crayons that I paid for! They were constantly calling home. These are just a few of the many wrote ups for my son. This school and its staff do not know how to teach children with any kind of learning disability. I was up at this school once a month to talk to the principal, vice principal and the teacher. I thank god everyday I put him into another school this year!

BACK WHEN I WENT IN THE EARLY 80'S TO MID 80'S..... IT WAS AWESOME TO LEARN FROM THE GREAT TEACHERS AND THEY DID STUFF WITH US BEFORE THEY WOULD DO IT IN OTHER SCHOOLS....

Schools are not just buildings, they are the people, the teachers, the students, the other parents, the leaders. They are not what you get out of them, they are what you put into them!! Parents need to step-up and raise and educate their children with the assistance of the public school systems, not let the systems educate and raise their children. Richard Henry Lee is a very good school. The people there care, and my child thrives as a student in this great environment! Kudos to RHLee . S. Cooke - Proud Parent

The entire staff is very supportive and caring! They strive to have every child excel! As with any school there is a select parent cluster that are involved.
