The school is horrible. They think that because the school is located and a low income area that is OK to give these students the bare minimum. The test scores are low because theyre not teaching a students nor getting the kids to help that they need. The principal doesnt know or interact with the kids and shes been there for over 18 years and we wonder why this school has low test scores. The kids are not getting the proper education because of the staff.

Not everyone have a phone or internet and the news is no help either please try a better way of telling parents that's school are close or delays

I have three children that attend Columbia Park. They have a friendly staff that is always willing to answer questions. They have a wonderful music program and many activities throughout the year. I would recommend this school.

This school has some growing to do!!!!! Let my start off first with this! I agree with must of the comments posted! However; we as Parents have to stress our concerns in the correct way! This school year I (Kimberly Blue) we be reaching out to parents in an attempt bring ALL parents together for change for our children. And collectively we will be heard! My Son will be entering into the 5th grade this coming school year and after last years experience, I was not pleases at all with staff and parents, moreover the children! When my family came to the school we had know knowledge of the PTA or PTC to address grades, behaviors or improvements to be made or gains. As a parent that is descerning to me and left me feeling unaware of any progress through out the year. That has to change!!!!!! We as a family talked about leaving the school, however we are staying and in the process teach our son lessions beyond measure. If you are reading the comments and are thinking about enrolling your child. Be prepared to make changes, be committed to change and hard work for your child. A school is only as good as the community it serves! So let's be GREAT!!!!!!!

This school is not good for children just for animals my daughter used to have a teacher there she was the worst kindergarten teacher ever she pulled children's hair slapped them and kicked them but she's not there anymore this school does not serve good food my other child got sick from the school bug virus and they do not serve good vegetables its a disgusting school I've never seen a school like this before I'm glad my children are about to finish the school year

The most Negligent; Non-Caring; Unprofessional Staff. They do not properly instruct or supervise the students. When children are injured they do not properly notify Parents or Medical Personnel; worrying only about their liability. They should not be entrusted with any children.
