Crossland HS has improved greatly over the past few years..... There are excellent programs in CTE (Career and Technical Education) at the school. including CISCO (Information Technology), Culinary Arts, HVAC, Masonry, Barbering, Cosmetology, Auto Tech, Project Lead the Way. etc... Students are receiving National Certifications and have received work via the programs..... Check out the CTE programs... My son passed the CISCO Certification and now works for the Government in IT...(Information Technology) and makes over 100,000 after 3 years there....Great teachers!

So many substitute make homework irrelevant. Some teachers ask for homework to be done online and others on paper. Students need to check a week before the quarter to make sure all assignments were counted.

Leadership is in a transition phase. By the time you are reading this the leadership could be all new.

No full program for kids with disabilities. Credit recovery main option for struggling students.

Below mediocre. Environment looks like a prison, student school pride seems low, facilities are neglected.
Decent culinary, Auto tech, and barbering programs in the Votech. Masonry and HVAC classes too.

I realize that all schools are not perfect but this school is is the worst! My daughter has attended this school for 2 years and i hate it! There are several fights every day, and a lot of bullying. children are supposed to feel safe at school not intimidated. These students need to learn character and respect. The issue is not really the school as in the staff the main problem is the student actions and reactions, these things start at home.

I like the progress Crossland has made. Charles Thomas and his team turned this school around to a world class educational instituion.

Crossland is absolutely the worst school I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of schools. The teachers have no idea what they're doing and the ones that do are stuck with students who dont care about their grades. All you hear is cussing and people copying other people's work. The principle and his vice are so unqualitified to be there. They suspend students for literally nothing and do nothing to inform the parents of it. I think they like to pick on students to be honest. they think every little thing you do requires a break from attending. They are truly just an uncaring school. I cant wait to leave.
