If you care about the quality of your children's education, don't send them here! My kids spent 2 years here and this year I've had enough and decided to transfer them out.

It seems that homework is given to instill what was taught during the day. It gives parents a way to see how well their child understands the material and what area needs more practice before a test.

My child has been at this school since Kindergarten. Every teacher that she has ever worked with has always been available to me for questions and concerns. Every last one of teachers is willing to work with not only my child but with me to help my child. I am very active in her education and I have a tendency to voice a lot of my concerns. No matter how many times I go to the teacher, they never made me feel as though I am bugging them. I am very grateful to them.

They practice the BEAR way which is Be Prepared, Engage in Learning, Act Responsibly and Respect Self, Others, and Your Environment. They do their best in instilling these qualities into the students. However, when the students fall short it isn't from lack of trying. There is only so much a school can do without the parents help.

Our principal is no longer with the school. When she was there she worked long hours and loved all of our children. She ran a tight ship. Our acting principal has been working with her for a few years and he is doing a great job. I do wish they would sometimes see a different perspective on some things but overall they do a great job.

We have only had a few cases of children being mean to my child. I'm not sure if you classify that as bullying but each time it was handled appropriately.

Our overall opinion of the school is great. Not to say we haven't had a few "Hiccups" along the way. However, you will only get what you put in. Any school can only do what they can for your child in the few short hours a day that they have with them. If you don't do your part how can you blame a school?

My daughter attended this school for 2 years and I ended up transferring her for numerous reasons. One reason I removed her was because of the lack of accommodations they had in congruence with her 501 plan. She needed to be on an IEP but they wouldn't allow it but yet kept failing her. The teachers out no effort forward to encourage the students or offer additional help. The class sizes were over 20 kids, as most PG Schools are, with no assistant so she was left with either you get or you don't. The principal, Ms. Joyce, seems nice but her demeanor has nothing to do with her staff and their lack of skills.
