They do not enforce policy. Students have more say than staff. Problems are ignored. Administration needs to be replaced with leaders that are going to be strong when it comes to policy with students and parents. Because of their lack of enforcement.

The laptop program that students had was ended 3yrs ago the part that let them bring them home and all work was done on them They were only used at school then last yr they started using them less then this yr students were changed back to text books. The new superintendent said he hopes to make science & technology #1 and the use of smart devices in all students hands again but not just 6-12 but k-12. It is a good school small classroom sizes and teaches that put the students 1st androp will do anything to help the kids. The staff are friendly. They have a wide arange of sport teams and our band sounds good. There is rally any problems at the school between students and there is a dress code that requires uniforms. Also we have a county wide FREE food for ALL students program no question ask. Finally we have a great bus/transportation where as eventhough we live right across the highway our kids still get a bus. I am glad I move here

Washington high gets a bad vibe from the media but in fact it is a pretty nice school. The teachers care alot and almost all are friendly. They have a really great sport, band, and drama programs. Washington also has a great laptop program, that starts at the middle school. It is 8-12 grades, but 8 is seperated from the high school. They have thier own section and dont even see the high schoolers except when they leave for the day. The teachers try to help you out when you really need it and do everything they can to make sure you know everything to pass your hsa, and msa. The algebra teachers push you to learn on your own and help you when you need it. The prinicple enforces the school rules the second you walk in the door. Overall it is a really good school.
