Our Lady Star of the Sea was an already good school that has gotten even better. The teachers are warm and caring and will make sure that every child succeeds. The new principal is amazing and since he's a deacon, he can continue the legacy started by the Sisters who were previously principals. Unlike many other Catholic schools, the Sisters still have a presence in the school as teachers, aides, and mentors. My children are challenged and encouraged. The Catholic faith is taught throughout the day and morals and values are extremely important. Parents are encouraged to be involved in every aspect of their children's education. Where else will you find that the most popular kids are the best behaved, highest achieving, and most devout Catholics? If my kids have to be away from me at school all day, there is no other place I would rather they be.

Our Lady Star of the Sea School provides an outstanding foundation for our children, combining both an excellent education and moral teachings. The staff are extrememly caring and work hard at communicating with the parents. OLSS provides a strong sense of community. Parents are very involved and contribute in every way possible to enhance the school - not only their children, but for the school community as a whole. There are many activities and traditions within the school that the students look forward to each year: the Christmas and Spring Concerts, Santa Shop and Talent Show for example. The art teacher is just amazing! When my neighbors come to visit they are always impressed with the artwork hanging in our kitchen. I definitely would not want to send my children anywhere else.

Our Lady Star of the Sea School has great teachers and challenging academic programs! On top of that, my children receive moral teachings. My kids that have graduated from OLSS School have been VERY well prepared for high school. The education Our Lady Star of the Sea School offers is individualized to the needs of my children. The teachers go the extra mile for the kids! We love Our Lady Star of the Sea School!

Our Lady is a wonderful school, a great environment with a loving and caring teaching staff. OLSS School provides a safe environment for kids to grow and be nurtured. They are taught about their value and about morals through example. All graduates are well prepared to move on and are usually ahead of the rest of the kids. These people care about our kids! We will continue to to keep our kids at OLSS.

Excellent school! My girls love it and we are pleased wuth the quality of education they are receiving. Even with today's challenging economy, education is not an area we are willing to compromise in and we'll make the necessary sacrifices in other areas to ensure our children stay enrolled at OLSS

This is an Exceptionally wonderful school for my children. The enviroment is safe, peaceful and happy. My children enjoy their lunches everyday, surrounded by beautiful waterviews that envolke such a peaceful enviroment. The students are very respectful to one another as well as all adults. The academics are amazing. Any disrespect is handle, swiftly and appropriately. My children enjoy attending school here. Academics are challenged appropriately. Halfway through, first grade my you gest daughter was reading effortlessly and her math skills are phenomenon. The teachers are all excellent with the children in a non-intemidating manner. The parent involvement is outstanding!! I have comfort knowing that I am sending my children to a qualified school where they can learn, grow and prosper into young adults and be prepared for high school. Our principle, Sr. Carolyn is very approachable and is prompt at following thru. My kids love their school.
