Teachers experience should be improved. It was very concerning to see teachers leave mid school year. It does significantly affect the student experience. Investing in clubs and sports would also be very beneficial to students especially in this day and age.

St. Peter’s School has been an amazing experience for my son. We are a military family and moved to the area midyear, the administration of the school helped me tremendously and worked with me to make the transition for my son as smooth as possible. They have a nurturing environment and the values and education my son is receiving there are priceless.

St. Peter's is a school that has a genuine concern for the education, and well-being of my child. It is anchored in Christian values, a competitive spirit, and instills a determination to succeed through well thought-out methods. The principal, teachers, and administrative staff are top notch, caring, and effective. There is not a better pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade school in the area.

As a parent of a child that goes to St Peters, I would have to say this is probably the best school in the area in many respects. It presents one of the most diverse student bodies in the region, it takes great care in teaching children of all levels and backgrounds, and the faculty are intrinsically drawn to teaching. These points naturally gave it the designation as a federally-recognized National Blue Ribbon school.

The administration and teachers genuinely have a vested interest in the success of the students. I like the moral standards that are upheld, along with opportunities for the older students to have leadership opportunities with the younger students.

As a substitute teacher I see the younger children have just the right amount as they get into middle school, the amount grows substantially but not overwhelmingly.

My twins love this school! They have learned so much this year in kindergarten. He attend art class, Spanish class, computer class, and PE. My kids are already reading 1 to 2 books a week. Their teacher Mrs. Kimm is absolutely the best. The administrative staff is very involved in what is going on in school and they actually care about your child. I feel very safe with my kids both attending the school and I made the right choice sending them to St Peter's school.

Having left a school with an ineffectual principal , we are overjoyed with the leadership provided by Principal West. He has instituted reading and math goals and rewards that have really been embraced by the students.

We have been very pleased with our daughter's education at St. Peter's School. Every year I always think "wow this can't get any better" and it does! The teachers are exemplary, and the administration is approachable and truly care about the children's education. The children are encouraged to grow socially, morally, and academically. I appreciate that my daughter is held accountable and responsible for her goal acquisition. As a parent, I am encouraged, not required, to volunteer and be active in the school and there is no judgement nor am I treated differently if I cannot help for a certain event. I also like that fundraising ventures are well thought out and kept at a minimum. I chose St. Peter's 4 years ago and it was one of the best decisions as a parent I have ever made.

Both my boys go here one in first grade and other in Kindergarten. I love the teachers and the academic atmosphere. My kids have learnt a lot here and have advanced in reading and mathematics. My older one has developed keen interest in science and geography. The staff is really friendly.

St. Peter's has provided my child with an excellent kindergarten curriculum and a positive environment. The teachers are very attentive and I feel at ease when my son is in their care. The principal Mr. West is professional and works really hard to maintain an effective environment for the kids. I have already recommended this school to people I know. The only minor issue is sports. My husband and I feel that they should have more sports to choose from. Overall, this is a great school hands down. Education is a priority in my household and St. Peter's is providing it with fun!

My Family loves St. Peter's School. We made the best decision by choosing this school for our Kindergartner.The Pre-K program he went to was not the best. I wish we would have started him at St. Peter's for his Pre-K. It is only about 1/4 into the school year, but I have already seen improvement in our son. He is excited to learn new things and he loves going to school in the mornings. The school feels like a family and we are always looking forward to participating in school events. The staff is very attentive and very easy to work with. Mr. West is an excellent principal and he is very easy to communicate with as well. The Kindergarten staff is the best. Mrs. Kimm is very good with the kids you can really tell that she is super experienced in dealing with 5 year olds. We are proud to have my son attend this school, he is always well taken care of. Thanks!!

Excellent school, especially for middle school. There's no comparison between this school and the public schools in the area. Everyone is friendly, and it is a welcoming environment. My son loves it here! He will be sad to leave.... this place has been a blessing!

My husband and I couldn't be any happier with choosing St. Peter's for our daughter. She started at St. Peter's when she was in kindergarten and now is in the 3rd grade. She loves her school! She has done extremely well in all her classes. The Superkids reading program for grades K - 2 is FANTASTIC. The program truly engages the students to read by combining fun with learning...the results are amazing. My daughter reads beyond the 3rd grade level. The accelerated math and reading program also has the students eager to read books and complete math objectives. The administrative staff and teaching staff are THE BEST! Each and every one of them are so dedicated to providing a loving, caring environment as well as the BEST education. Our St. Peter's community is very committed to making sure new families feel welcome. Our PTO is always coming up with new family fun events to bring our community together. We love St. Peter's -- no other school compares. GO STORM!!!!

My 4 children attended St Peters for 3 years and I didn't realize how well they had been prepared until I put them in public school to further their education. Each one has a love for reading as a result of the many awards the administration offered for reading and they each have A averages in their respective grades. The grading system is transparent and the administration is as available as you; the parent, can be. It's hard to believe that my 9th grader has a 4.0 average in his 1st quarter of high school! Thx to all at St Peters!!

St Peter's is a great school compared to other private schools in the area. The principal and the staff are very professional and keep the kids their number one priority. They are always coming up with fun ways to keep the students and parents involved. The reading and Math awards keep the students motivated. St. Peter's has all the assets of a bigger school with the small school environment. St. Peter's has dedicated teachers that really care about the success of their students. When my 7th grade daughter was falling behind in math, her teacher offered to stay after school and work with her. She did this on her own time without charging me. She continued to work with my daughter every week for the rest of the year. When the year was over, my daughter tested at a ninth grade math level.

Mr. West does a great job of preventing and dealing with any bullying, it's a strict no nonsense environment. It's summer break but he's looking forward to going back to school!

The entire faculty truly cares about the students and knows each by name. They foster an environment where learning is fun as well as challenging. The Principal is active, engaged, and is doing great things to continuously improve the school curriculum and physical environment. We have finished another amazing year at St. Peters! I have never been in an environment where people are so dedicated to their jobs and the children they are responsible for teaching, this school feels like a big extension of our family, the teachers are loving and excellent at their jobs! The principal is charismatic, and sweet, yet firm and looks out for what is best for his staff, students and community. You will not be disappointed, we never could have imagined such a genuine place to send our children!!

This school is amazing! The entire staff works very hard to give an oustanding education to every child. Eventhough its a small school, they still provide a lot more than just the basics. I am very pleased to be sending my children there. As a parent, I always feel welcome. It actually feels less like a school and more like a family. I don't understand why the previous comment says the school is the pits. This not true in my experience. The principal runs a tight ship, but he is friendly and loving to all the staff, children, and parents. Send your children to this school. It's worth every penny and more. You won't be sorry.

My child just finished his first year of school at St. Peter's. He had a fantastic year, and was supported so well by the teachers and staff. We are looking forward to next year, and sending our other two children there once they reach school age. The entire staff is so caring, and the principal is dedicated to the school and students. Both my children are current students of St. Peter's and have been for the last two years. I am very pleased with the academic programs, teachers and the leadership qualities of the principal. My youngest child is receiving a great foundation, not just to be competent but to excel. My oldest child is definitely responding well to the smaller class sizes and the family feel that this school imparts. St. Peter's is definitely Waldorf's best kept secret!

I can't say enough about St. Peter's! My two older children have graduated from St. Peter's and I am about to have my youngest begin. My children were challenged and were well prepared to compete at the local high school. They are both honors students due in great measure to the foundations taught at St. Peter's. The staff is beyond caring and the administration, especially principal J.R. West, has brought an enormous amount of great energy to our school. Give us a try--you won't be disappointed!!
