Everyone at this school sees microscopic to no bullying in ACA since this school is on top of not allowing this. My daughter loves going to school and seeing her friends with no worries.

Mrs. Hurd is the greatest principal and leader of this school. She is the most wonderful person. LOVE ACA.

My daughter has ADHD and this school has been so supportive and understanding. They actually worked with me and my daughter when she acted before thinking. Public School would have throw her out or just kept sending her to the principal's office. ACA has done so much and now after being there for almost 4 years, I see a BIG improvement at which I would of never seen if my daughter went to a Public School.

They assign only 10 minutes or less of homework which I think is great. Most of the work needs to be done at school so kids have that off time to joy life and actually want to go back to school. Instead of their off time having to do homework and having no fun, than they resent school.

Every teacher there is understanding, kind and are wonderful teachers. They give the time to each of their students and actually advise you if there's something that needs attention to and what to do. They want ALL their students to be successful.

Since my daughter has been going to ACA she is always "mommy say your sorry, bad word", always saying please and thank you. She has just blossomed into a wonderful young girl, which never would of happened in a Public School. She has also been on the Honor Roll and Principal's Honor Roll every year since she has been going to ACA. I went to Public School and my daughter reads better than me, enough said.

I LOVE ACA. I could not image what my daughter would be like if she had to go to a Public School vs going to ACA. As I commented earlier my daughter has ADHD and in the beginning she was very act first think never. With the help of ACA and my daughters doctor, she has blossomed into a wonderful young girl. Every teacher always describes my daughter as the most loving and cheerful girl just so HAPPY. With the small class size provides an ideal learning environment and each student receives that special "one on one" attention they deserve. All the staff is friendly, inviting and welcomes as much parent involvement as possible. As parents, we have the opportunity to join our kids in activities throughout the year from field trips, Olympics, classroom helpers and even Pizza Lunch helpers. With the family environment there you actually feel like ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. When you are at ACA you can just feel the welcome and love at the school.

I strongly agree with this statement but my daughter has been enrolled for 6 years and honestly we do not have behavioral issues that a lot of public schools encounter.

I am confident that my daughter will graduate from ACA and be more than prepared for high school. Most students need to transition to Honor's or AP programs in high school because of their academic diligence at ACA!

I love that the teachers at the school are utilized to teach to their strengths and academic achievements and the students are not in one classroom being taught multiple subjects by one teacher.

Pros: small class size, emphasis on Christian values, strong math and language programs, excellent music program, reasonable price for private education, family-like atmosphere, teachers who are willing to do pretty much anything to help my children succeed, quarterly field trips just for reading two grade-level books!
Cons: aside from pizza Wednesdays, there is no school lunch program, school needs more emphasis on art.

A weekly "keep the quote" competition, and a year-long bible verse incentive keep the bible strong in student's hearts.

Teachers use different methods to help struggling students. Teachers also use a lot or project-based learning.

Very little daily homework for grades K-5. A little bit more for middle school. For my 4th grader, 0-10 minutes each night; for my 6th grader, 0-20 minutes each night.

My wife and I decided on ACA for our kids a few years ago. We attended an open house and loved the atmosphere. The small class sizes make the school a great family environment for the kids. Advantages of this school include: 1. Small class sizes so teachers can focus on the needs of each student. 2. Teachers who care greatly about the kids. 3. Family atmosphere. 4. There is a strong emphasis on values as well as academics (Don't be surprised when the kids hold the door open for you). 5. They still teach cursive! 6. School uniforms (We don't need to spend all of our money on Under Armour). 7. Emphasis on math, science, and technology. 8. Bullying is not tolerated. 9. They have a very good music program. 10. Just a few minutes off of Route 2. Disadvantages? I would like to see more of an emphasis on art. There is no school lunch program other than pizza on Wednesdays. Be prepared to pack lunches every night except for Tuesday night. There's not much space for outdoor play, although the kids get plenty of exercise (basketball, floor hockey, outdoor playset, etc.). Overall, this has been a great school and a great choice for our family.

Arnold Christian Academy, ACA, offers an educational environment that fosters academic excellence in combination with genuine spiritual growth. The dedicated teachers cultivate a successful attitude as they present the material in a way that teaches the students to want to learn and work to their very best potential. Because the classroom size is small, it allows students to be cared for in an individual manner. The size, however, does not limit the opportunities. In addition to the core curriculum, there are a variety of programs offered: music, PE, Bible, health, band, speech, foreign language, field trips, school programs, and opportunities for family involvement. We recently moved to the area and looked at several options for our child. After visiting the school and talking with some of the friendly staff, it became clear that ACA was the best choice. My child comes home everyday with a smile and excitement for learning. He excels academically, grows spiritually, and thrives socially in a Christ-centered environment. As parents, we could not be more grateful to the Lord for the positive impact that it has made on our son and family. ACA is definitively the very best.

ACA has been a great school for my kids. Because it is a smaller school all the kids know each other and they help each other and get along very well. They have excellent teachers who really care about the students. If you want a Christian education for your children and a very loving and supportive learning environment, this is the place.

Arnold Christian Academy has been a wonderful blessing to my family. After Homeschooling for 11 years, the school's staff provided a smooth and comforting transition for me and my children. It's small class size provides an ideal learning environment and each student receives that special "one on one" attention they deserve. All the staff is friendly, inviting and welcomes as much parent involvement as possible. As parents, we have the opportunity to join our stundents in activities throughout the year from field trips, Olympics, classroom helpers and even Pizza Lunch helpers. The Christian principals modeled by the staff makes being at school just like home. I highly reccomend ACA to any family seeking an education that edifies!

Teachers at ACA are great! They make sure all the students understand the lesson they are teaching even if it requires further explanation. The have an interest in each student and because class sizes are small, they can easily monitor how each student is doing. My student feels respected and cared about by the teachers and receives praise when it is due. Encouragement when it is needed. The principal is engaged in what teachers are doing and how parents feel. A great school, school the way it should be.

I would recommend this private school who wants a reasonably priced school that has a team of teachers that care about the children that attend the school. I am very pleased with the curriculum and the way that my child has progressed. The teachers are also great at working with the parents

We moved here from Denver, CO last year. We visited several local schools personally and interviewed others by phone. Our concerns were christian education quality and cost. We chose Arnold Christian because of the dedication and confidence exuded by Sue Maksim, principal/teacher and the teachers at Arnold Christian. We have been very happy with our child's experience. He gets all the individual attention he needs and has most of the fun that he can imagine. He really enjoys the art and music/band program (saxophone). The teachers reinforce good character along with the core subject matter. The tuition is very affordable compared to local private schools in the area. We are very pleased!
