We were looking for a new school for my youngest daughter after she wasn't doing well at her previous school (lack of support, disorganized staff, and outdated curriculum, to say the least). Washington New Church School was THE best decision we could have made! The school is small, but that doesn't disadvantage the children at all! The teachers know everyone by name, and all the kids are very close. My daughter learned many skills that she would not have experienced at her old school, and she came out a stellar student ready to take on high school. The school is diverse both in staff and students, and there are plenty of opportunities in the classroom to learn about different cultures! The school also hosts many community events and fundraisers that we love to attend and show support for! Our daughter loved her time here and still talks about it to this day as if she never left. All this to say, if you were thinking of bringing your children here- DO IT! You won't regret it.

All four of my kids went to the Washington New Church School from K to 10th grade. It is an excellent Christian school with a dedicated, experienced, caring faculty and staff. I highly recommend WNCS.

WNCS was an absolutely tremendous experience for my family and child. It was the best school he had attended to date. I would not trade my child's time there for anything. He is more confident and prepared than ever before.

I'm so grateful to be a part of this family! We have rigorous academics, but our biggest strength is the personalized care that we give each child academically, emotionally, and behaviorally. What an awesome school! I stumbled across Washington New Church School online, while looking for a new school for my children. If you are looking for a school where educators are passionate about teaching and provide an amazing learning experience, then this is the school for you! The class sizes are small which have provided my children with plenty of student/teacher interaction and attention. The curriculum has not only successfully prepared my children for their future grade levels, but it has also "stretched" my children spiritually, academically, artistically, and socially.

On a scale from one to ten and ten being the highest Id give it a ten plus. My kids enjoy attending school. My grandson actually has never showed me a side that he cared about school. He sets his alarm and gets up on his own and gets dressed to be there. This school was a great match for him. Hes inspired and focused and its paying off. Very little distraction for him. Smaller class sizes I really think was one of the things that put him back on the map for success along with caring teachers who believed in the students. One of best experiences Ive had as a former educator.

The teachers make sure the students understand the assignment so theres little parental assistance. The student can work independently getting assignments done in a reasonable time frame. Also, if the student or parent had some difficulty with the classroom or homework assignment the school has a warm welcome for explaining.

All of the strong chacteristics mentioned integrity, respect, and compassion my kids came home talking about it. My little 4 year old even gave an example. I was impressed.

Honestly, Ive never heard anything about anyone being bullied. The kids are pretty close and respectful. These children make connections daily by social media or by cell phone.

High academics along with a wonderful caring atmosphere. My children have a second home here at WNCS. Small class sizes can offer plenty of one on one time crucial for a child's education and general well being. Amazing!

WNCS is so amazing this is our first year with this school and we love it. We get so many amazing activities sent home its amazing the small class room size is great one of the main reason we made those choice to send our son here but the love and support you get is absolutely amazing. Wouldn't want to send him any where else.

WNCS is an amazing school! The classes are small and the level of education the children receive is first class. The teachers are wonderful caring people that really spend the time getting to know your children. I wouldn't send my child anywhere else, he is in such good hands and has been since since Kindergarten!

"Best Kept Secret" My son attended WNCS for 5 years. I ask him what did he like about WNCS and he said how the teachers made him stay focus on the task. But at the same time, how they kept it fun and interesting and they show how the Lord works with all of it. Then I asked him what he didn't like. And he said that he wish that he would have started at WNCS at Pre-K. To make a long story short my son is now attending 11th & 12th grade at their mother school in Pennsylvania. (WNCS is Pre-k -10th grade). I hope to see you and talk to you at the next Open House on Thursday 3 April 2014. We were so impressed with how our son has mature with the school and grown spirituality.Things that drew us to this school: Small class sizes, safe environment, caring teachers & staff, it's affordable, the academics, and the way the Lord has guided and is a part of everything at this school. Well I was trying to use up all the characters in this review. But I think I will leave the rest open for when we meet and talk more at the Open House on 3 April 2014. See you then. C.Moore
