On behalf of our family, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire faculty and staff at Mother Seton Academy for the outstanding education and unwavering support you have provided to David Davis.
Your commitment to academic excellence, character development, and nurturing every students potential has made a lasting impact on Davids life. Through your guidance and encouragement, David has not only grown as a student and young man but has also earned a scholarship to Mount Saint Joseph High School. This achievement would not have been possible without your dedication and belief in his abilities.
Thank you for being such a vital part of Davids journey. We will always be grateful for the strong foundation you have given him to succeed in high school and beyond.
With heartfelt appreciation,
The Davis Cooper Family

MSA, has exceeding my expectations. I looked for information about the school before enrolling my son but at the same time I did not fully understand the culture and tradition of the school. Now that my son has the opportunity to joying the school I see that is a lot to discovered. MSA it reminds me a lot the High School I went in back home - the learning time is valuable and there is no time to waste which keeps the student constantly in a curious learning mode, but when it's fun time they do blast too.
MSA is a GREAT School!

I am a proud parent of an 8th student at this school. I have never seen teamwork so hard for students. My only wish is that it could continue into a high school. Mother Seton High School. This is a 10-star school in my book. We a privilege to receive a private school education at public school prices. This is a true once in a lifetime opportunity.

The school offers extended days built around doing homework. There are no excuses for missed assignments because the teacher stays behind just to help with them. The work is rigorous but rewarding. Your kids are pushed to a higher level beyond a normal BCPS standard.

The teachers are professional. This is a concept that is hard for many parents to deal with coming from BCPS. When we are used to seeing teachers who are lackadaisical, it is difficult to receive the style of teaching of the standards these teachers set. We as parents have to be willing to step back and allow the process to work and see the difference that teachers can make.

Life-changing. As six graders, they walk in wild. As eighth graders, they walk out as graceful young men and women.

Hands down. Sister Peggy, Dr. Sucre, and staff are giving 110 percent of their heart and soul to the students of this school. It is truly as if these are their own kids. You have to see it in action. They will teach and love. They set great examples .

The school population (75 students in all) is very small, so in cases of bullying, the child needs to tell Dr. Sucre or Sister Helene. They will arrange for a parent meeting. There are cameras in the classrooms, halls and assembly hall, lunchroom, so the incident can be caught. Bullying is rare. Very rare.

5 out of 10. It's an average middle school.

The teachers don't know how to build relationships with the students. They talk at them and not to them to build a rapport.

From a theory perspective yes, but from a practical sense no. A great example is a parent that tells their kids not to smoke and all the reasons not to, but the parent smokes.

The principal doesn't allow the students to have a voice b/c the teachers are like gods....they can do no wrong, as if they aren't human.

The teachers don't know how to teach according the student's learning style. They are taught based on whatever the guidelines are for the school.

No, not at all! They need more development on dealing with African American children.
